Myanmar Nation unity government calls for Civil War

Your country’s government should have thought about that before giving the coup their blessing,

The Chinese govt did not support any coup. China is only opposed to comprehensive sanctions against Myanmar. Burmese people are already very poor. If the international community imposes comprehensive sanctions on Myanmar, there will be famine there. As for the coup, it is Myanmar's internal affairs and China will not intervene.
Don't you know Aung San Suu Kyi is a pro China faction in Myanmar? In September 2018, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi chaired and signed the China Myanmar economic cooperation agreement with China.

We will treat muslims how minorities are treated in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the Middle east.
I mean our Christians, Sikhs aren't migrating to neighboring countries...
I don't see refugee crisis of Pakistani Christians or Sikhs (not saying there are no issues but its not state policy- infact state policy is to discourage it)

good for china, india, pakisthan nd russia...they can now sell more weapons to both parties :D :D

Not for us, now when Northeastern part of country has finally started to stabilize we really don't want a bloody civil war raging next door.

NUG is just a Burmese version of Juan guaido staged by the US,with no validity. Myanmar needs a top down gov that can prevent regime change each time the ruling party collaborate with China for development or Don't cowtow to US edicts .

1. China has indeed prevented sanctions against Myanmar. That is because sanctions will not solve the problem, it will only trigger a humanitarian crisis in Myanmar. Once sanctions occur, China will inevitably be impacted by refugees.

2. Any BBC news about China is questionable. They are anti China media. They have made too many rumors.

3, China did not recognize the Burmese military government. Chinese officials call the Myanmar military government "Myanmar military".

4, The so-called material assistance from China is 7.6 million doses of vaccine donated to Myanmar. US $1.555m donated to Kachin and Shan states (they are ethnic Chinese in Myanmar). Transfer 1 billion Kyats of medical materials purchased and donated by Singapore Lihui foundation.

5, China does hope to resume the B&R project stopped because of the military coup in Myanmar, but no agreement has been reached for the time being. The Burmese military only agreed to protect the property of Chinese businessmen and resume the construction of China Myanmar oil and gas pipeline.

The Humanitarian crisis in Myanmar is CAUSED by the TATMADAW. As long as they are in power - humanitarian crisis will not go away. Better that Myanmar break apart into separate provinces (Chin, Karen, Shan etc.), instead of being artificially held together like it is now. They are not a homogenous entity.

However they are a strong buyer of arms, even from China itself. That plays into the equation and Chinese support I am sure.

We have had assurances from Chinese FM that they will 'look into' Rohigya repatriation - but that was three years ago. I am sure China CCP does not condone ethnic cleansing.

Bangladesh cannot infinitely keep housing Rohingyas who ARE MYANMAR CITIZENS. Myanmar has to take them back.

A political solution must be found, otherwise things will devolve into terrorism inside Myanmar, no one would want that either.

@Bilal9 bhai,

Let's look at this more pragmatically. If this Civil War in a sense takes of the ground, Bangladesh can carve out an autonomous region and relocate the Rohingya' s back to their land and train/arm them to defend themselves properly. By extension the Bangladeshi nation can have a ally they can look to as well considering the good will that has been built housing them. BA can act as a peacekeeping force in that region and have what we call strategic depth like we have in Afghanistan.

This is a great idea @PakFactor bhai. A lot of people in Bangladesh support this idea (which in fact was proposed by US senators, to create a buffer state in Arakan) however we are mindful of any repercussion to trade and investments we currently have. We cannot risk disruptions right now and go against UN mandates, though Myanmar is.

Let's see what happens....

Here is a video about China netred's visit to Ruili refugee camp in Yunnan.
There are Burmese of various nationalities in the refugee camp, but you can easily find a problem. Rohingyas and Rohingyas play together. Other Burmese ethnic groups play with each other.
It is clear that there is a problem of integration between the Rohingyas and other ethnic groups.
China is only a neighbor of Myanmar, and China has no ability to solve such internal problems. This problem can only be solved by Myanmar and Bangladesh, and China can host these refugees at most temporarily.

BD already has strategic depth through bengali muslim populations where in matters.

Rohingyas are not particularly populous.

Look at the cost of aquiring strategic depth has caused Pakistan. I postulate BD can not afford it, we do not have global backers like pakistan.

BD focus should be a strong economy that ultimately leads to a strong military to safeguard our sovereignty in an unstable neighbourhood.

Let burma burn.... its not our business. They do not need our assistance to turn it into a hellhole.

As far as rohingya is concerned i do support training and arming them. If the situation merit they should be supported in carving out a free space for them. But BD must not support or take their lead from random group who do not control anything on the ground.
