I owned the first 200 in the country, weeks before it was launched.
Its definitely a 200 motor. And its nothing like we've ever seen in India. Its just too much of a bike in such a small package.
And I bought it for 1.29 lacs on road!
Cheers, Doc
Duke 200 for 1.29!!!! in which state?
Maharashtra. Poona.
That was the price at launch.
I sold one of my Bullets (the uber crappy UCE 500) for 1.4 and got the 200.
Cheers, Doc
What do you think about the new BMW G310R in comparison?
It's not come here yet buddy.
Trying our patience ....
Cheers, Doc
Eh? Is it not made there?
You mean it's out elsewhere?
Cheers, Doc
Available here already. Dealers are giving out demo rides and booking orders with quick deliveries, about $5k on the road.
had used Bullet (old classic model) briefly in the past but found it too noisy so sold it off within 2 months..I hate all types of pollution...but yes, bullet is a class and it has its own followers...as I had mentioned somewhere in the past, Bullet/Endfield is Indian Harley Davidson ...looks like a commuter bike... could have gone for enfield, if you have a car already and want to ride bike once a while.
yes I did...in fact I evaluated these 3 bikes only and after test drive and online reviews, decided to go for Honda Hornet...but yes, Yamaha and Suzuki bikes are also very nice. Its just that I had to marry only one ;-)Congrats bro. Nice bike!
Did you also look at the Gixxer and the FZ25?
Cheers, Doc

Where do you fight traffic, Doc? It's regular for me to wiggle past roadblocks (read brain dead in cars) to and from Hinjewadi Phase III.Your bikers are a scared and docile lot in comparison to Poona.
Had first hand Exp in Gandhinagar. Accidents and rash driving was the only entertainment out there. Used to see a couple of scooty riding aunties dash into each other ever single day. They just got up, dusted themselves and went on their way. Buisness as usual. After Dhaka, the Egyptians and Amdavadis are the worst out there.
@JD_In Congrats. I am planning to get a new car for dad and maybe just Squeeze abt 2lakh for a bike upgrade. Keep updated on your ride.
