Of the current crop, I like the Yam 250 naked the best, south of the KTMs. What about you?

Yahama is also doing the same thing with R15 line up.. they've released R15V3 but we're still struck with v2

maybe... but with no other alternative other than suzuki gixxer R15 v2 still selling like a hot cake after BS4 upgrade.. R3 is an another level i certainly can't pay 3.7 lac for a bike... imight as well go for a car with throwing some more money.

The R3 is nowhere close to being the bike (cc for cc) that the R15 or the Ninja 250 / 300 are.

i think in a drag race R3 took out Ninja 300 in pick up the rest goes to Ninja in a full gear

I found it to be dead, and with the tubular non delta frame chassis, an ordinary handler as well.

Just looks hot.

And most racer puppies I know agree with my assessment (over barely 3-4 kms on a club member's new ride) ...

is ktm duke kinda touring bike right? Mean yiu don't have to lean forward like in the case of adventure/sports bikes ?

Duke 200 is k for long trip... but in KTM 390rc you'll have to break your back before you reach the destination.

for touring, noting will better than RE bullet Classic... its my opinion

I think ktm is more like a south Asian dukati with reference to ease of riding and speed .

Ducatis suck big time buddy. The Hypermotard is good to an extent. The Panigale leaves me cold. As does the Multistrada.

Way overpriced. Not too refined either. Have a big bunch of friends into the whole Ducatista (I call them Ducatestes) scene. KTMs have spoiled Indians now. Permanently.

i don;t tink duke has 200cc engine they've downgraded the original engine which is used on the RC version.
And ya One has to perfect the art of breaking on Duke to live a long life....

I owned the first 200 in the country, weeks before it was launched.

Its definitely a 200 motor. And its nothing like we've ever seen in India. Its just too much of a bike in such a small package.

And I bought it for 1.29 lacs on road!
