@Zibago @SecularNationalist you guys are both misunderstanding my words and misinterpreting the law. This law is not made to kill all the minorities or make it hard for them to live. Of course not.....who says to kill them on hearsay. When law is actually implemented, there are few steps to go through. Witnesses, proofs, how is blasphemy done, if a person asks for apologize etc.
Problem is, misrepresentation of the law by lawmakers and misunderstood of the law by people.

Best reply so far. im new to these forums and this thread was actually the first one on my page so i had a look at it. and from what i saw it was just pakiis acting "over-educated" some are accusing the governor and some Qadri, but the main fact everyone seems to be overlooking is WHY these actions were taken by qadri. Im not saying what qadri did was justified or what the governer said was true, thats an entire different case, what im tryna explain is why these ordinary people are taking the law into their own hands. it because our government has NO backbone. they cant come to a decision for themselves and take matters into their own hands without being bribed. our government is survival of the richest, the poor just get brushed off. Now look at raymond davis the dudes a living example of why our government sucks, or the girl who lit herself on fire, lets face it, no one is to blame but the government

Sir volumes of Pakistani laws (not law) need to be repealed and amended, people think its Blasphemy law that is unjust but there are many other laws that are outdated and are more unjust and fail miserably to protect the rights of a simple Pakistani, laws that are manipulated and abused on daily basis to rip Pakistanis of their basic rights. But the big question is who is competent enough to initiate this change? Parliament/politicians? Judiciary? Molvis? Liberals? People like Hoodboy types? They are all morons who are part of the problem not solution. Everyone has his own version and everyone wants everyone else to agree to his version. It is funny Pakistan creates disgruntled extremists at the hands of its treatment handed out to its citizens on daily basis and then fights them a decade later. Aik tamasha hy ahamko kay mailay ka. Pakistan is a lawless country with volumes of written laws so complex that you would need to hire consultants and advocates to understand those.

Are we that pious and capable? If he ever thought that he was born to be part of a just cause and that he loved Messenger of ALLAH (peace be upon him) more than everything else he would have been just, he would have respected other humans, he would have constructive thoughts and above all he would have resigned from his duty of being part of a protocol of a politicians or so called VIPs (we know how these protocols treat ordinary Pakistanis). He was misguided because he thought honor of messenger is saved only by killing someone, did not messenger of ALLAH wished to save every soul? What about the love and compassion Messenger showed towards humanity, the patience and control he (peace be upon him) had………………

Pakistan's whole process of law promulgation, enforcement and judiciary is business of whores, if you can pay the right price you can hire anyone of them (exceptions are not counted) but it’s the bitter fact, an unjust society where State willingly keeps its citizens in dark it will keep producing Taseers, Qadris and Asiyas, we can have 2000 nukes, thousands of planes, most sophisticated defense equipment but we won't go anywhere we will still be fighting and killing. A country where killing is necessary part of politics, be it religious parties or the most secular parties of this country they have their fair share of killing.
