ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan took to Twitter on Monday to share what he said a master plan of Pakistan’s first knowledge city.
Prime Minister Khan posted an animated video showing the master plan of the knowledge city as envisioned by him with a caption that read: “The Master Plan of my dream to build Pakistan’s first knowledge city.”




Singer-cum-actor Ali Zafar announced in a Twitter post on Sunday evening that he had been appointed as ambassador to the Namal Knowledge City envisioned by Prime Minister Khan as a centre of academic excellence for the marginalized population residing in remote areas.
“Honoured to be nominated ambassador to the first and biggest knowledge city in Pakistan “Namal Knowledge City” envisioned by the honourable Prime Minister Imran Khan,” he tweeted.

He said knowledge plays a key role in the development of a country and society.
It is pertinent to mention here that PM Khan had performed the groundbreaking of Namal Knowledge City phase 1 on October 24. The premier was briefed that after completion of the first phase, more than 10 thousand students from deprived areas would benefit from the Knowledge City. It was informed that this project would be environment friendly and a state of the art green structure.

I hope it has science as the centre with multitude of universities making up the core with tentacles reaching to every university around the world. A city full of students just learning and researching.

Has schools of business, engineering, medical, science, philosophy etc etc. A full fledged university on the scale of Oxford etc offering a diverse range of degree programs.

Usually in Pakistan our universities just focus on a specific area, while world over and specially in the west most large universities cover everything. That is also one of the reasons our unis rank so low because how holistic the university is a big measure for the ranking.

We need to cut out the arts are farts subjects and focus on science, engineering and HiTech. The knowledge city needs to be encircled by industrial parks and applied businesses.

As a general rule of thumb, there will always be 'paperwork' issues when you involve land over a certain size.

Couple that with tax incentives provided in the business of "education".

The country is full of ghost schools, colleges and hospitals.

Sad, he can't compete with real OG. The very first verses of Holy Quran which were revealed to Holy Prophet SalAllahu Wassalam started from an Arabic word "Iqra" meaning "read"

"Read, ˹O Prophet,˺ in the Name of your Lord Who created— " Holy Quran 96:1

Islamic teachings are all about learning one and only truth - reason and purpose of our creation.

In 600 AD for Arab world China was considered a far away land. There is a tradition of Prophet Muhammad SalAllahu Wassalam, he stated that to learn one must even go to China or similar words to that effect.

In Holy Quran there are many verses where Allah Subhanahu wa taala commands the humankind to seek and learn truth from the various signs of the nature.

The foundation of modern Science was laid by the Muslim scholars, scientist and mathematicians.
It is very unfortunate that we as a Muslim nation lost the true way and fell.
Nevertheless, the success will only come if we sincerely seek the true way. No corruption, fair justice, peace, and sharing.

May Allah Subhanahu wa taala guide us to achieve eternal success, prosperity, peace and fair justice. Ameen.
