My argument in defense of slavery, inspired by Nietzsche

If l don't have what it takes to be a great man ( of science, arts, philosophy ) , l should be enslaved.

Most of you here should be slaves, unquestionably. That's why you hate my idea. You think too highly of yourself.

You can start by working in a Southeast Asian sweatshop. Let's see how much you enjoy it.

Please name ONE country where the elite live the same lifestyle as the ordinary peasant or laborer.

Cuba, Libyan Jamahiriya, Venezuela.

You are confusing empathy with equality. Most people want everyone to have basic necessities where no one goes hungry or dies from illness.

Do most people really want that ? What are most Indian, Pakistani, American and British middle class people doing to bring about such a change because in our societies these is hunger, homelessness and socio-economically-maintained ill health ? I see the middle class mostly involved in watching cricket matches and boxing matches, marriages, religion, college degrees, wage slavery and middle class poverty... essentially doing everything except speak and agitate for changing the political and socio-economic systems.

This is not the same as everyone gets the same rewards regardless of effort. Someone who works hard deserves more in return that someone who sits around all day.

Tell me, why should a typical middle class "high earning" computer engineer in South Asia who may put in "hard efforts" for his company but that company does not contribute to social harmony but this engineer expects to get a higher "reward" than a lower class drain cleaner who actually does useful work but unjustly gets a lower "reward" ?

You should create a socio-economic system where every person has the potential to have equal access to all the goods and services in society ( my proposed system here ) . We should not create a class / caste system where someone has access to the goods and services by dint of his perceived superior efforts but others don't.

That is not how ISLAM works

What do you mean ?

Notion we need to challenge

1. Equality of people before the law and in possession of civil rights

People are not born equal. Majority of people ( including me ) don't have what it takes to be a great philosopher, a great artist, a great mathematician, great scientist or anyone in general who contributes to the cultural enrichment of your civilization. Instead of enforcing a system where everyone sees himself as equal to other people , the state should keep the natural hierarchy in place to maintain the highest standard of art, philosophy, science in society and let everyone who is capable prove his worth. Otherwise, mediocrity will be the rule. The elite class of society should enjoy greater rights and be allowed to get around the law as the culture is in greater need of them. A nation is defined and distinguished from others by its culture. So the value of an artist is considerably more than that of a soldier or any commoner for that matter

What we need to advocate

2. To maximize cultural progress (enrichment) , the existence of a slave class is neccessary

Before AI takes blue collar jobs away from the people, we need a class of people who should not concern themselves with politics, science and philosophy. They should be trained to operate as mindless robotic cogs in the big industrial wheel. They need to be enslaved so the elite can have all the time to advance the frontier of knowledge and art. Once the AI revolution is successful, half of the world population will be rendered useless, so it's important to let them know that they don't deserve the same equal rights as the elite who are running the world. The downtrodden members of society should be grateful that they have not been euthanized forcibly for being a complete waste of space

The elite artists should fashion the taste of art in society and the common people should not be able to dictate the direction of art to the artist. The commoners should be indoctrinated or slowly pushed to acquaint themselves with the elite taste until it becomes the fabric of the society as a whole. In this way, it's the role of the great artist to lift a nation to great cultural heights

By your logic, people blessed with better intellect or anyother capability should be a notch above those less blessed. And while your writing clearly shows that you are among the very best humanity has to offer, but I recoken there still might a one or two souls that could best you on their best days.

Answer me this then, o great philanthorpist, would you imagine yourself and your family (God forbid, and with all the respect to your family) becoming slave to someone better than you?

The fundamental problem in this argument is this : Slaves vs Masters become hereditary. A privileged person will do all in his power to pass the privilege to his offspring no matter how much of an imbecile he or she may be. It may work in short term but in long term it leads to rot. Take Tsarist Russia for instance. Or France before french revolution. There comes a time and situation where those unhappy with system revolt, and violently too. Equality and equal share in government is a peaceful way for such revolt. Those with privilege still remain privileged so long private property is respected. Only instead of revolutions, you have elections. So we bypass the bloodshed. That is pretty much the only thing privilege of equality in government brings.

If it came to that, l would probably kill myself or go on a rampage and take a couple of people with myself to the next life. There's no point in living the life of a slave

Ha ha. I'm a useless abused dog barking at the void but l know my place.

God forbid ? The poor call on God for help and God wants the people to help themselves. Doesn't God affirm in the Quran that he helps those who help themselves. What a great paradox but does it bring relief ? Let alone my family, my entire tribe and my entire nation deserves to get enslaved if they don't put up a fight.....

Please understand my point. Let nature and the power dynamic of life take its course. Don't place artificial checks and balances to produce an egalitarian society, as it culls the potential of great individuals who can only be nurtured in a system of inequality. You have mentioned the French revolution, it doesn't foil my argument. The only justification of the French revolution from my perspective was the rise of Napoleon (afterwards), not the despicable egalitarian outlook of enlightenment philosophers. Democracy is the rule of the mob and we should never allocate any form of power to the common people as it destroys the noble ideals of a high culture. Equal rights for all people gives shape to a culture of mediocrity.

I think you should move to interior Sindh. Thora slavery ka chaska laga lo, then write a report.

Then you fucking contradict yourself.

You want others to be slaves, but not yourself.

And your post is extremely disturbing.
