Just came across this on Zaid Hamid's fb page. Brought tears in my eyes.
Paying the Price of life for loving a country like Pakistan is just worth it - Muzaffar Jamali Baloch
Before I begin with anything, Lets start honoring such ordinary humans with extra-ordinary passion to do something impressively good to change the Country.
No doubt, Honourable Mr. Muzaffar Jamali Sahib, has proved that greatest and most patriotic Pakistanis, are found in Baluchistan.
Government of Pakistan, MUST announce the highest Civilian Award of Nishan-e-Pakistan, to the School Principal, Mr. Muzaffar Jamali, whose 10-year-old Son was killed while the Principle and his two daughters Amira and Arifa and a passerby sustained bullet injuries, for singing national anthem in the school, despite a warning.
As reported by a newspaper of Sunday 27 May, 2012, the DCO Kharan, told journalists on Saturday that the Principal had been threatened by the Baloch separatists, for singing national anthem, in his school.
Muzaffar Jamali, a lower-middle class Baloch Intellectual who refused to quit his passion despite of life threats. His famous words during a cultural event in Kharan Public School, Baluchistan "Paying the Price of life for loving a country like Pakistan is just worth it" were as inspiring as Jinnah's speech in Karachi where he said that we have sacrificed a lot to make Pakistan but now we need more sacrifices to preserve its existence and independence. Undoubtedly Muzaffar Jamalis sacrifice is one such example that Quaid-e-Azam was talking about.
The Question is not who killed Muzaffar Jamali for loving Pakistan, the question is, are we honoring such sacrifices? Today when we see that our Mainstream Media gives coverage to anti-Pakistani separatists mainly Nawabs and Sardars where they spit their venom against the State with their usual distorted version of history and manipulation of facts to brainwash our precious and respected people in Baluchistan, the question is that do we ask such a media to also give coverage to Pakistan loving lower middleclass patriot Balochs who are rarely heard and seen by us? Will people like Hamid Meer write articles on such heroes as well? Will people like Asma Jhangir carryout a protest rally against violent Separatist elements? Will Sana Bucha interview the families of such people and listen to their side of the story? These are the questions that we must ask them. It's true that the Balochs have been unfairly treated by all governments coming in power for last 6 decades where as Media has played an effective role to polarize the Baloch Society by completely ignoring their existence. Let us Honor such unsung heroes now before it's too late Pakistanis. Let us stand along with our Baloch brothers and sisters during these dire situations.
We salute to the Patriotic Pakistanis, who are holding the national flag high in the turbulent province of Baluchistan, notwithstanding extremely real threat to their lives and property. Shaheed Mr.Muzaffar Hussein Jamali Baloch certainly was one of our current Jinnahs of Pakistan who died while raising the slogans of Pakistan zindabad right after he was drilled with bullets. Let's Honor his sacrifice, let's glorify him as our Hero and let the traitor media know that we Pakistanis wont be kept ignorant about our Heroes anymore. Let's use this Social Media Platform to raise our voices before Muzaffar Jamali's sacrifice goes unnoticed. Please Keep sharing this article among your friends and family as otherwise we are equally responsible for ignoring such sacrifices just like our media. Don't let family of Mir Muzaffar Jamali feel that Pakistanis are equally insensitive about his sacrifice as our politicians, instead assure them that you standby your heroes. Keep Sharing this info as no Media is supporting him.
