Both reservation and BPL subsidies re there for political reason. Itnwas and is never meant to eradicate poverty but to please the masses.

Its time that we abolish reservation in education system. This is the most harrasing thing that father gets a job with reservation and his kid also get reservation and his coming generations.while others suffer.

Sanghi come out of the closet already. Only reasons Muslims stayed back because Gandhi and Nheru had promised us special treatment.

There was no akhand bharat to start with , and as i said partition was the best thing to happen to India... If i was PM of india i would have honoured jinnah with bharat ratna and would have annihilated any reference of nehru from indias history..The future is only going to a be course correction this time...a complete generation of sikhs were wiped out jst bcz a part of them were in support of khalistan (my deapest condolences for the sikh community ) . when we couldnt stop ourselves from being barbaric against our sikh brothers for nations unity, we wouldn't give two fags if it is someone else...

You are pitching in to defend a known Hindutva troll. I have no negative opinion of muslims left there which I should change. Some of them living there for 60+ years will obviously become loyal to the hindutvadi regime. I was stating muslims shouldn't rebel like some did when your hindutva friend came along.

I can never defend divisive forces, be they hindutva forces or islamic radicals. You are still having a medieval mindset when sultanates and regimes were the order of the day. We are a democracy and we are party to governance. We are loyal to ourselves. In last 67 years of our freedom, we had less than 7 years of rule by hindutva party. Also I was in Lucknow for 2 years approximately and also there is the time I was there during the Samjhauta express incident which was blamed on Pakistan but was in the end a work by sadhvi pragya and purohit, so thats how the media operates. Rest of my time has been spent in the gulf and Canada while some years in Pakistan. I have met Lucknowites. Some don't favor independence but a sizeable number do support Pakistan. You can ask your grand father if he voted for the muslim league in 45/46 elections and he will tell you he did.

Here is a statistic. 90%+ of UP muslims and 75%+ of all muslims voted for an independent Pakistan. Still there remains in many families left there support for Pakistan. This is a reality you are unwilling to admit.

Media reports have to be taken with a pinch of salt but the important thing is that our investigators have meticulously reached the culprits and the law has ensured that the culprits remain behind the bars. We still have faith in our justice system. As regards to supporting Pakistan, we do support you except where our national interests clash. After all we were one people at one point of time.

My grandfather was a freedom fighter, a gandhivadi and a congressi. He and our family was opposed to Jinnah and his two nation theory. Some in our family supported Jinnah and migrated to Pakistan. Not all muslims of UP or India voted for Pakistan and those who voted for it did not know that they will have to migrate leaving their motherland. Eventually they chose to live in minority in their homeland rather than going to Pakistan. However, I dont deny that many who had chosen Pakistan could not migrate but so were many people in Pakistan who did not want Pakistan but continue to live there. I can only pity such people. They are similar to those bihari muslims who live in Bangladesh.

Look at it this way. Where are you going to go when Hindutva's attack you. Indonesia, Pakistan? Because now thats where we went when the hindutva's struck. The new generation of muslims in India are ignoring a reality that might eat them alive.

My advise to you is, don't burn all your bridges. Pakistan was made for oppressed muslims of the subcontinent AND before you say anything else Look at 1992 mumbai and 2002 Gujarat riots. Do you know some of the victims went to Pakistan? Don't burn all your bridges. You might be reliant on Pakistan for help one day.

Also no one migrates from his native hometown unless there is extreme oppression. Remember that. You might be forced out of your village too.

I do not have to live by your assumptions nor do I live under perennial fear psychosis that someone will attack us. Sectarian violence is not privy to India alone. Tell me where did hindus go when muslims invaded India? We dont live in medieval period that rulers belong to one class or religion and all others are subjugated. We are a democracy. I disagree with you that Pakistan was made for oppressed muslims. Can you tell me who oppressed muslims in India? And when migration took place, it was mostly muslim royalties and rich that migrated and poorest of poor stayed back. Gujarat and similar communal violence are a blot to our democracy but its not unique to us. Most developing nations are struggling with violence.
My marriage and my husband's business have forced me to migrate to Mumbai. From living in a Haveli in my village, I have "progressed" to live in an apartment who else do you think will force me to migrate from my village?
