This was a nice gesture done by the sikhs and vise versa done by the muslims for the sikhs one of my best & closest friends from childhood to date is sikh... most importantly rip to the 3 muslim guys that passed may GOD have mercey on their souls and to their familes ameen. Moving along let me clear something up on a personal note to pepole that don't know us desi's that live abroad support each other 99% no matter the race,religon and nation we are from we live happly together and belive me on that . Third lets not turn this nice thread in to a hateful one talking about woop a$$ etc in war woop is given and taken on both sides . Fourth as i always say and always will hope for and pray for is that we can all live in peace enough of the hate & bloodshed look around you and see the events taking place all around the world . Understand this to some of you dummies you are only boiling your blood while working your head towards hate and being in the bad books upstaires and killing your health for no reason which will only lead you to the doctor's office sooner or later which i don't wish upon anyone. Be human for once talk about friendship & peace rahter then fighting & wars it won't get you anywhere let the children of tommrow live in peace and let live for GOD's sake.

No its confirmed news..I myself heard it on a regional radio..It not being told on BBC.

Were run over by a car outside the mosque they were guarding...Died in Hospital..
Police say they have made an arrest and launched murder enquiry..Its very easy to trace car and owner in UK..and there will be many witnesses . so hopefully the perpetrators will rot in Jail..
Next time communities guarding their area should also keep Fast drivers..specially Muslim and asian communities..so that these scums dont get the courage to hit and run...

BBC News - Murder inquiry after Birmingham pedestrians killed by driver

Police have begun a murder inquiry after three pedestrians were run over and killed by a driver in Birmingham. The incident happened at about 01:15 BST on the Dudley Road in the Winson Green area. Police have arrested a man and a vehicle has been recovered.

The casualties were taken to the nearby City Hospital where a large crowd has gathered. It is not yet known if the deaths are linked to overnight rioting in the area. However, it is thought the men had just come out of a mosque and were protecting their neighbourhood at the time of the incident.

Members of the Asian community have described the incident as a hit-and-run and police in riot gear have been blocking the hospital's main entrance.A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Two men have died following a road traffic collision in the Winson Green area of Birmingham which detectives are treating as murder."Three men were taken to hospital where two subsequently died from their injuries. A third male remains in a critical condition.

"West Midlands Police have launched a murder inquiry, arrested one man in connection with the incident and recovered a vehicle from near the scene which will be examined by forensics experts."West Midlands Ambulance Service said the third victim of the collision had died in hospital.Officers have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
