Muslims-only apartments coming up in Greater Noida

Have some relatives in Hyderabad India and they live in very decent and upscale housing, in Hyder enclave near sun city...think this is the best city in India for obvious reasons.

.
forward caste religious Hindus and Jain societies in northern Indian cities enforce vegetarian terrorism and caste system openly. No gau mata steak or curry for you. Let alone onion or garlic. Primitive.

Their house their rules. Don't like buy your own. Even in US landlords set their own rules. For example, if pets are allowed or not

.
No decent Muslim will want to stay there either! Disgusting ghettos are for the type of people who not only love being stuck in the 7th century, but also adore being marginalised.

It's a vicious cycle, can't get away from it, kind of entrenched into the system. Lower castes also adore being marginalised and get the SC/ST/OBC quotas, perks and privileges...wondering do Muslims have some quotas there.

Lord knows, man, and I hope not. Quotas based on religion and caste are ridiculous IMHO. My mother’s side of the family chooses to live in mixed neighbourhoods, with the secular Indian values they’ve been brought up with.

Quotas are only legal for Hindus as caste system is supposedly a Hindu concept. Other religions do not recognize castes hence are not eligible.

The way Muslims and Christians trick the system in India is by claiming as a Hindus when it comes to availing quotas for education & jobs while practicing Islam or Christianity in real life.

If you’re poor, you tend to live with your fellow poor people in ugly ghettos and other low income neighbourhoods, but if you’re from the middle/upper/wealthy class, you’ll choose your place of residence accordingly. More than religion, I think it’s your socio-economic condition that motivates ghetto-living Vs non-ghetto thriving.

Hyderabad is nice, but Bombay is awesome. You should come visit if you ever get the chance to.

I concur quota system is against the concept of meritocracy and level playing field, there shouldn't be any.

Quite strange if the people can trick the system to get the quotas in govt. jobs and in educational institutes.

I would have preferred government going with the concept of scholarships to meritorious students who cannot afford the fee rather than quotas.

Quotas have brought down the quality of education in India. Most of students who get quotas in educational institutions do not even complete their degrees in spite of they having lower grade points to complete their degrees.

When people go to a doctor, the first thing they check is if the doctor has earned their degree through quota or not. No one wants to take a chance with their life.

yes many state in Indian recognized Muslim backward cast ,and they are getting benefit as other backward cast, under cast quotas (not religion),in state government job and service

main technical issue is Muslim community having difference with in ,till than they will demand reservation on religion basis , it will impossible for them ,because constitution doesn't recognized religion, but cast is recognized by constitution , and it possible to give Muslim reservation under cast quotas, all christian SC /ST getting benefit under cast quota

different Muslim organisation having different view on it , some started raising voice that ,if cast is reality in Muslim community ,than why it is not being openly accept ,it exist since long and it is reality

same statics Muslim also have, forwards or so called upper cast is around 15 % ,rest 85 % are Ansari or other lower cast , and because of this 15 % why rest 85 % is suffering, but with in Muslim community also their political ,and religious representative mostly come from Muslim upper cast ,

Right, scholarships are better and motivating as well, quotas are demotivating for deserving people. Pakistan do grant some quotas to Gilgit Baltistan and FATA region people, but there share is less than 5% of the total jobs and educational quotas, only in federal run institutes and jobs not in provinces.

Educational standard do suffer with quotas, was reading there is as high as 50% quotas for such people in India in jobs and education, this is very high.

In medical field there shouldn't be any.

50% is minimum. States like Tamilnadu have 80% quota.

The following are reservations by state for OBC (other backward castes) only under Mandal commission since 1980s. This is already on top of the SC, ST & BC reservations that were already in place since the formation of India.

actual reservation is much higher than that , 49 % is just quota for backward and lower cast

with in quota there is rider also
1> minimum 30 % should be girl
2>3% physical handicap
3>3% central service quota
4> 3% freedom fighter,army

approx it is near 63 %

This quotas and reservations, the positive discrimination is all too complex and myriad, my head is spinning with all this travails and pitfalls resulting from this system.

For India this might be the best system hands down, for now to make things works. This is good unless there is an alternative...

1> minimum 30 % should be girl

This is huge 63% in many cases, can't help it getting away from it, it is entrenched and intrinsic in the system now, how it can be reversed or improved...as to my understanding with more people getting out of the BPL deserving some quotas, the quota percentile need to be lowered as with the decrease in actual numbers, but seems the population growth rate is more in lower caste people...obvious here.

The positive discrimination, the reservations, the quotas for ST/SC/OBC is fine for some period, shouldn't go for ever, it's a kind of anomaly, something that shouldn't be the standard practice.

It is resulting in further irregularities in the overall standards and system.

It is actually very complex thing...and hence no one want to solve and change this thing in India...need another Ambedkar, the person who initiated it should solve the puzzle.
