Muslims, Christians sons of Ram, those who don't believe it should leave India: BJP minister

And there are also many thousands of Indian nationalists who laid their lives for their country without chanting these words. I know about Ram and Ramayana(flying chariots and stuff) but I would want to know the literal meaning of word "Ram"...

That cannot be an excuse for you now since BJP is in power, are you implying that BJP government is not competent enough to control Islamic extremism as per the law of the land that some other religious bodies have to do it?

BJP is more interested in improving their strength- once you radicalize the population then it's easier to get votes whether you perform or not. You can just raise the muslim bogey and see the votes come in.

Hope that answers your question.

Why don't you spend the next 10 years inventing another 108 names instead of boring us to death with your drivel

Your point is well taken

It is true that BJP has members who are hardliners and
and the larger Sangh Parivar like VHP / RSS are trouble makers
but STILL they can ALL be handled and tackled with
the combined participation of the media ;judiciary and the citizens themselves

There is no such thing as rising communal bigotry

You must appreciate the fact that so called secular parties
themselves create communal trouble in their respective states
to SHOW to Muslims that only the secular parties will protect them

And above all here in India ; SIX months have gone by
Modi's HONEYMOON period has ended :p: ( Funny Isnt It since he is a Bachelor )

Now he has to deliver people are waiting for the economy to show some
more traction and momentum

Any misstep will be fatal for Modi

All these JOKERS will be soon read the RIOT act and gagged soon

See, the issue with political idealism in the subcontinent is that we assume that figureheads like Modi or Imran Khan are to be the all and out without realizing that they are not "lobby-proof". The emotional public is all willing to create shrines and declare Modi Kalki Avtar or Imran Khan Mahdi..without realizing that these men have their own interests to serve which is to stay in power. To do this they have to bow to the whims of key allies and juggle around certain issues. I was very convinced that when Modi started out he was very willing to settle the issues between India and Pakistan, however his allies and his Think Tank(along with the rather stark dismissal of him on Pakistani social media after the LoC flareup) has him doubting himself. The same way I am sure that when the 2002 riots happened, he may have had that concious choice to take a more proactive stance and prevent the massacres, but his allies made it clear that his seat depends on his silence.

So what guarantee can one take that with him as PM if such events are sparked by the allies of the BJP, it will not be forced to stand by and watch horrendous events happen so to ensure that the majority religion or votebank does not sway away?
If Modi does decide to be aggressive and go after his own allies, or work against the new machinery.. it is likely he will find himself being slated for replacement via character assassination.

Just because you and your fellow ideologists state this, doesn't mean that they are always correct. I am sure your version of history has been discussed many times right here on PDF... Don't really think there is a need for one more of such discussions.

LOL I don't hate Rani Laxmi Bai(May be the Scindias did) though I am sure you would want to prove otherwise....:coffee:

"Facts" of yours may or may not be accepted by all and would be challenged. So that will end up as being your POV for others.....

But I would want to know the literal meaning of Ram from your side. And don't worry I would google it up just to verify as I won't believe in unverified things...
Good, I also question everything. Google is a good source. Not worrying at all. :D

I don't subscribe to any fringe history. I am referring to the history taught in our universities. Which most Hindutvadis don't really subscribe to.

. .
And above all Modi got a reality check that all his efforts and hard work
can go down the drain because of such JOKERS who must now be
handled in a pre emptive manner

All potential trouble makers must be identified and kept on a tight leash
I agree. Discipline is of paramount importance.

The BJP has just started its term. The old rot runs deep and uprooting it is too humongous a task to be left to the govt alone. The govt is competent and will do its job, but extra help is always welcome.

Also, we have learnt from our previous experience with BJP govt to never depend solely on the govt. We are no bhakts as you would assume. We prefer to keep the polity engaged.

This is what happens when you let these uneducated sadhus and sadhvis run the country. They are the Hindu equivalent of madrassah educated mullahs. They should stick to religions. Extremely poor from Modi to give such people ministries.

Who is Ishwar then? Or rather the supreme spirit in Hindusm?

I do not disagree that they are just a mirror image. And the more I see it, the formation of extremist ideals within India also has a background with the evolution of the "Hindu-Muslim" culture and the gradual decline of that culure starting with the re-Arabian influence.

Ishawar is in general reference to Shiva as seen by Shaivaites to be the supreme lord over other gods. Brahaman is the supreme spirit.

I don't understand what you meant by that. Could you elaborate on it?

There you go...I corrected it for you...:enjoy:
