One of the reason of this is strong Da'awah done by muslims in prison. No other religion want too many anti-social elements in their midst, but muslims are concerned only with quantity, not quality.

It may also mean that muslims are not doing their job of dawa properly. 7.5 % is a significant no. and they should be a political force to be reckoned with. This is true and no its not down to evil racism or anything. I don't know but there is a serious problem with the way some young muslims are behaving in western countries. There is a total breakdown of community and family values, the older generation still has a lot of respect for their adopted lands, but some youngsters have seriously lost the way.

And I'm talking as a young Muslim myself, not bashing young people.
