UN provides muscles to the US foreign policy. It was the core objective of creating first the League of Nation and then the United Nation. It was the main reason that USSR was hesitant to join the United Nation.

The Turkish government, at the moment, supports NATO's agenda regarding Syria.

Muslim countries should consider making a muslim UN of OIC countries, maybe including som friendly non muslim countries also.

One ally of Muslim-majority Syria is Christian-majority Russia.

OIC is already there and has done jackshit about the muslim world's internal politics. It has infact exacerbated the problems between the major powers by playing second fiddle to western, arab and more recently hindu interests.

OIC and also the Arab League did nothing, or much worse, participated, in the NATO invasions of Iraq, Libya and Syria.

If the UNO is a failure then OIC and AL are bigger failures.

Good idea they should call it Muslim United Nation Association or MUNA. They should add new nations every year, who should first join New Association of Nation and Alliance NANNA. Countries first have to join Nanna and then Muna. There should also be an association which will feed its member , Association of Malnutrition Alliance. MUNNA and NANNA if have famine should go to AMA. In case of war they should Association of Border and Arrangements ABA. ABA will have the final say in any dispute between the MUNA and NANNA.

I propose Turkey re-establish Osmania empire....the muslims have been all over the place since the breakup. Erdogan has the calibre to be the Sultan and Turkey is strong enough to do so.

To have a Muslim UN, you would need to accept differences of each others. Right now it is impossible. The reality is that wars in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan and Yemen are fought between rival Muslims.

So the first thing to do is solve all these conflicts by using OIC platform. If you accept the differences of Shia and Sunni, and others and all are invited to the Muslim UN, then may be you could have something.
