Muslim U.S. Students Convicted Of Disrupting Speech

Looks like student protest to me. Some of those student's lives may have been directly affected by the Israeli Regime.

Did they disrupt his actual speech or did they just shout out loud during his entrance?

they orchestrated as a group before the even took place to disrupt his speaking. Which they then followed through on. they are guilty I believe, but this should have been handled in a different manner and not through the courts. As it stands unless thier conviction is overturned. They will most likely get probation and community service.

What retards. How about don't attend the speech at all! Its not like someone was forcing them to attend his speech. Don't see how by disrupting his speech they achieved anything. A normal intellectual human being would patiently listen to his speech and then raise issues during Q&A session.

Only in America. If Ahmadinejad came they would threw tomatoes at the guy and the students would have been hailed as Heroes.

I'm sure they would have some supporters. They would still be prosecuted.

All these students should have been thrown out of Campus .. Criminal Offence is a bit heavy handed I guess. But yeah

I have noticed that Muslims in West are misusing the freedom of speech. They do not want to integrate..It is better for these guys to just leave and go back to their countries

This was immature and simply wrong. If a speaker is invited to express his opinions, like it or not, his right of expression trumps everyone else's freedom of expression.

There is a great difference between a 'right' and a 'freedom'.

A 'right' is when you are granted access to <something> that may or may not exist. That allowance is from the generosity of someone else. A 'freedom' is when we believe that everyone is inherently endowed with <something> that cannot be taken away.

So if I invite someone to speak at my house, my invitation does not affect his freedom of expression but does affect his right to my house. Then when he begins to speak, I have the right inside my house to suppress everyone else's freedoms and rights in order that I can hear him speak. Outside my house, I have no such power and authority. These students have no right to interrupt a guest in someone else's house and their lack of that right in no way infringes upon their freedom of expression.

Well done !!!!!! Proud of u guys

For behaving like pseudo-intellectual junior-league jerks?

"Oooh I've got a great idea, guys. Let's take turns interrupting the speaker! Everyone will admire us. Maybe we'll get some girls!"

Remember these guys are Muslims .. so they won't get girls since it is forbidden to have Coitus before marriage...

Heckling is not free speech. Just a sign of disrespect. If these students wanted to "protest", they should have done it outside. It doesn't surprise me that those supporting these hecklers (for obvious reasons) neither understand free speech nor have any respect for it. They think they should be respected for "shouting" all the while they are taking away other person's right to speak.

The 'right' to disrupt other people's freedom of speech is wrong, & Muslims should not exploit this privilege (freedom of speech) given to them by America.

Well said Bilal bhai. We expect our voice to be heard when living in others countries where we are a minority. In the same way we must not take advantage and heckle others down. It is childish and disrespectful. If you dont agree with what they are saying then there are things one can do but i object to this law breaking stuff.

They stopped the speech of an Israeli zionist..ufff..what a crime..what a heinous act of terror..

That Juden "Professor" said "You are failing your exams." That too is disgusting typical Juden bast. in fact I have heard some Juden Professors deliberately give bad grades to students who support a Palestinian state or support Palestinian rights in their classwork.
