Muslim U.S. Students Convicted Of Disrupting Speech

Living in a nation doesn't mean you support their policies. If you have the rights and power to make a stand or change you should do so.
Right, I want the country I live is to acknowledge my concerns for a better future for America and Pakistan. If I can't agree with certain foreign policies, it by no means makes me Anti-American. If anything, it makes me more loyal to the United States because I want the country to succeed at an international scale.

Actually how many times is the Indian parliament dis-erupted in worse ways? They are students and they have a point of view. They are young and naive but what about the people who throw mikes at each other and you elect them time and again. regds

I think its odd because white , christian mostly demonstrators have also interrupter speeches and this nonsense of disrupting is a bit awkward , as its right of anyone to speak out against anyone

I'm sorry,NO ONE has the right to disrupt. The idea of free speech is that everyone is allowed a chance to be heard.

Here's how it should have worked... The Israeli gives a speech. People listen. The Muslim students schedule their own speech, and people listen. Or they demonstrate outside the building. But they do not interfere with the Israeli.

What these students did is not far removed from beating the Israeli up so he couldn't speak. Or threatening his family to silence him. Obviously those would be crude crimes, but the result is the same... no one can hear what the man has to say.

When politicians do it, it is even worse. You'd expect professionals to have decorum and understand the rules.
