I am not sure about your experiences with muslims in your daily life but I've seen many muslims in rural India who barely follow Islamic practices. Not sure how the foreign muslims will fare here in India while hiding their faith...

Muslims in Mumbai too barely follow Islamic practices, only friday namaz they are regular.. consumption of weed among muslim youth is also high

You try to dodge the real question I raised. Why do they come to India and don't go to Pakistan or Bangladesh or any other Muslim nation? After killing the Hindus in Myanmar, they come to India for asylum.

India is giving them citizenship. No other country is doing that. Bangladesh does not, Pakistan does not. After getting citizenship they will convert back to Islam.

PS- I want to ask the illegal Muslim migrants, why they want to live in Hindu faciast ruled Modi's India and not go to safer locations in Muslims countries.

Partly because of cultural similarity, partly because of nearer distance, partly because India's initial leaders did a few things that made India not entirely a theocratic system.
