You think that Malaysian woman DOES NOT know what an Islamic Dress Code is? If she grew up in a Muslim country, she can't be uneducated enough to understand what Muslim women wear usuallyWhy does a weather man read the news, why does the economist comment on fiscal policies, It is the job of the cleric to define what the Islamic values are. Malaysia is a very tolerant country you need to go there to find out and if not try google
And regarding Malaysian "tolerance", here is all the information you may ever need on violent use of flogging and caning in Malaysia for "crimes" we consider nuts here in the Western world:

LOL . I didn't ask for autonomy on religious matters or taking authority on religion "away" from original religious scholars. What I said what was that unless these centuries old religious rulings regarding modesty of woman are reformed to work in the modern world, there is no hope for gullible Muslims in the present or futureThat was well said, you demand teachers to teach you everything, yet on religion you ask for autonomy. He did not give a fatwa to kill her, just defined in his understanding what is Islamic
His comments regarding a sportswoman and a national hero were nothing short of disgusting. We have many similar singers turned Mullahs like Junaid Jamshed saying things about women that have nothing to do with Islam. Sick people all lots of themThere is no forcing in what he said, but rather his view which was asked for or he gave in the press. I wonder where your freedom of expression dies off to when this happens
What I said was perfectly valid and it is true. Mullahs alone should not decide what is the "right" and "wrong" in Islam. Since faith is a matter of human being with his / her G-d, its still up to the individual to decide on how they will follow their religion. Sure they are free to give their opinions, but coercing people into accepting their own religious rulings as something divine and at par with rest of Islam is lameDid you even bother opening them before you argue
The rest of your rants are not worth reading
