People are Opposing a poorly executed wrong decision made by the government but for all the wrong reasons.
Mullah Brigade just want anything at all to stay relevant and gather people around them. Rotten to core, Lagging behind time and age, loosing followers and becoming irrelevant every day past. The Pakistani Mullah/Madrassa and Religious Movements Model system and its Products have completely failed us for providing our society with Islamic Values and Ethics, And providing our youth any moral values that can rise against Injustice and Oppression of Class Division, As Movement of Islam Actually Envisioned and Achieved 1400 Years ago. All they have successfully created is a confused Angry Lot.
May Allah Guide them and open their eyes for what they are doing to themselves and their followers.

While that being said, If the temple is being built by efforts of Government, Whats the point of building a temple in a locality where Followers of that religion don't even live. This money should be spent on Hindu Pakistanis living under poor conditions in Sindh. But if it is being built by Hindu Community by their own money then people should stop this fuss.

Certain movements and organizations claim to speak for Islam, but actually they are furthering their own political agendas. Shame on such people who play with the heart strings of the people for their own power.

Pakistani people need to be alerted about these charlatans and the proper method of airing grievances in a peaceful and respectful manner.

Our government lets too much hate speech fly, we need to crack down on the society at large.

This is negative PR for Islam, Muslims, and Pakistan, yet we keep falling into the same traps.

The malicious label given to us by the West and Indians sticks.

I've just read through the thread. Half of the people cheering that the temple construction has stopped are sitting in foreign non Muslim countries where their hated kafirs not only allow them to build their worship places, but also give their charities tax exemptions.

I don't find Indian levels of tolerance good enough. But it is more than what others get, in your country.
Muslims who are talented, modern, friendly can reach great heights in India. Lawyers, doctors, chartered accountants, businessmen, you name it. Your country just has a few token minorities in high places.

A higher bar for India would be to aim for American levels of equality, but that comes with development, education, prosperity, which take time.

This country needs a software update.

Stupid people , leave kids alone from such hate. If the commitment is made by state of Pakistan then complete it. We don't need to act like Modi and Co.
Only issue is security, where if the mandir is constructed then Indian embassy activities will be increased. And this is ISI and national security agencies job to keep it clean.

But back to topic: Try to build a mosque in Germany, it's not that easy and people start petitions against it and demonstrate against it whilst shouting islamophobe slogans all the time. And the government DOES NOT fund it. We Muslims have to organize everything on our own and the Muslims are not rich here.
