According to the general perception and news and of what i have heard, The Temple is being built by Government Funds. Constructing a Temple with government funds in a region where there is no sizable Hindu population and Government is literally bhikari level of ghareeb is stupid.
This money should be spent on Hindu Brothers where they live in sizable population and under extreme poverty like Interior Sindh. Even if they want a place for worship government should provide land there.
If Hindus of Islamabad are constructing it with there own money, then no one should object it if its being built on legally acquired Land. They have same right in Pakistan as a Muslim Does.

Tell me exactly what are they trying to achieve here by ignoring the Hindus of Shikarpur, Rahimyarkhan and Tharparkar where they are in numbers and making a Temple here where hardly any hindu lives, when they don't even have money to provide Healthcare and education?.
And for this stupid decision, the reaction of people is barbaric and stupid. Like this Country is "Khala ji ka weera" of a particular mindset and no other community can practice its faith and build there places of worship legally.

I don't support construction of Madaris on Government Funds when people cannot even afford basic health care. I am not aware of such cases but If they are making Madaris from Public funds then I don't support that either in a country like Pakistan.
People working on Minimum wage work 9 hours a day and cannot afford acceptable basic health and education. And Govt have enough money to spend on Madaris and Mandirs. Its not Job of a Poor government to provide these Luxuries. People should construct these Institutes by there own funds. Tax is not collected for construction of Religious Praying houses. Its for Basic needs first and everything else latter. Do government provide free Hajj for Muslim Tax payers and provide for Masjid and Sehr o Aftaar Food for every muslim tax payer? these are basic Faraiz for Muslims yet they are responsibility of Muslims to arrange for it themselves not Government.

As for government funding, I believe that either all religions should get funding or none. I've just read through the thread. Half of the people cheering that the temple construction has stopped are sitting in foreign non Muslim countries where their hated kafirs not only allow them to build their worship places, but also give their charities tax exemptions.

Yaar you are mixing two separate things .. this comparison of Muslims living in west having Mosques and Hindu's building new Temples in countries with major Religion as Islam are very separate things, I have discussed this in detail but i don't know why you and others are incapable of seeing it ?

Look my friend, first of all there is no Sunnah or example that exist from the times of Prophet that he allowed new temples to be build in Mecca and Hijaz, after he conquer the Mecca the idols were broken with little to no regard or sentiment hold by the meccans , after all we are breaking their Gods . In order to understand this you have understand the nature of Islam itself, Islam doesn't claim to be one of the many religions that are acceptable to Allah , It is the only religion and Allah is only to be worshiped alone without partners , and this is the most fundamental of Islam, Shirk is such a grave Sin that Allah told us that he will not forgive it no matter what, And Allah throughout Quran talks about how his mercy is far far greater than his wrath .

Muslims who lives in West and they build Mosques to worship Allah can not be equal to the temple where Idols reside, such as Hindu's . Temples already exists in Pakistan but building new temples still is a complicated issue that needs to be resolved through a much balance approach .
