But as @Spectre said the burden would still on the prosecution to prove the guilt. What the law says is that it is prohibited and the police are empowered to conduct a search. But we should still not encourage the vigilantism. That is a slippery slope.

In MP, carrying beef is an offence. The group should have informed the police right away instead of taking law into their own hands. The Muslim couple should now be arrested as well.

Beef Slaughter(Buffalo) is allowed in MP and so the consumption..............The Couple claim they were not carrying the meat.....an unclaimed baggage in general compartment......Lab test proved it ti be buffalo meat......By the by tell these flocks to concentrate more on public issue that may bring good fortune for BJP in 2019
