Musharraf does it again!

You guys make me sick. Mushy may be devoted to the PA, but his devotion to democracy is shaky, to say the least. Why didn't he step down quietly rather than commit a coup against his own president?

Mushy may be devoted to the PA,:hitwall::hitwall:

He is no longer holding any office. He is an ordinary person, like me and you. He has no political or any kind of future in Pakistan so he and his comments are irrelevant. He has touched to such lows that he was visiting Pir Pagara in his Kangry House. Who cares what he is saying? On the other hand each and every move of Zardari and NS is under the microscope. Are they representing the sentiments of Pakistanis, 'No', but Musharraf's bickering would change anything, answer is also 'No'. ‘So’ choohey kha kar billi hajj ko chali’.

great post. :agree:

Who told u he lives in palace?? If u have info then plz share!!

Bro, I don't know much but this much I have heard that MQM runs on Jagga Tax. And a party who functions on jagga tax is not a nation friendly party. As far as Altaf Hussein is concerned , he looks like a joker when delivers a speech or gives an interview. He acts too funny.

Democracy has already trashed our country, thank-you very much.

There needs to be a distinction between democracy and bad (choice of )leaders.

The only democracy that seems to stand in Pakistan is one where the president is a puppet of our best friends or are corrupt to the core (also susceptible to the art of puppetry).

I'd rather, by a thousand miles, prefer a dictator who cares about his country than one that has gained power by the often sung song of democracy.

But if after coming to power, what if you discover that the dictator doesnt really care about the country...?? What then.. You cant remove him.. Unlike a bad democratic govt.

I think Pakistani population tries to find the easy way out by passing the blame of its bad choice of leaders on to the process of democracy and finds solace in the Army rule/dictatorship where they dont have to carry the burden of choice..

Indians seem not to hear what Pakistanis have to say, unfortunately, the Indians are in a conversation where they want only their voice to resonate - LISTEN, see if you can discern what is actually going on.

Actually, that is wrong on many counts.

I never said army is was best if there is a valid choice, all I said is that I would prefer a good dictator than a bad leader election after election after election. Do you think there is a choice? All we have are puppets.

Please don't talk for us when you don't know Pakistan's situation.

If the puppet concept easier to understand- The afghan elections. What is the chance that a progressive non-US-puppet leader will come to power?

today i heard a suggestion by musharraf that pakistan should follow turkish model..can turkish model be accomodated in pakistan?
in this way we ll give a definite role to army-- the most powerful institution in pakistan--wont fear more coups..is this a sane suggestion?

I still think Musharraf is the best bet for Pakistan, he just warned of coup not demanding it. Although his remarks are anti-govt. but what good has the govt. done. Leadership is scarce in Pakistan, he seems to be the only person to take Pak out of this situation or at least stabilize. Its a risk but a what other options available for this country. Atleast he won't sell his country.

.
i support his idea to give army a role in power so pakistan can move farword
