We all know Modi-ji wants to make Mumbai better than Shanghai, which is a long-standing Indian dream. Let's hear from our Indian members on how this can be achieved. Please give your thoughts and ideas. Thank you!

Who cares, even if its true, Mumbai is rising fast and that is all that matters. Not only Mumbai we have other cities also rising.

I am happy to see progress. And progressed we have!

You don't care because you are an exception, but the rest of India care. For Manmohan Singh and Modi-ji and hundreds of millions of Indians, this is a very important issue. India's prestige is at stake.

Now, let's hear from our Indian members who do care.

Seems like no one really cares. And it seems you really dont know what a democratic media is) and politics in a democracy. indian media and its politicians does not represent the people. No one has time to sit to compare in their busy lives, except for trolls like you. You by the way, you seem quite obsessed with your country. Best of luck trying to troll a few Indians online.

So, if Indian politicians don't represent the people, then how could India be called a democracy?

It seems to me that you don't understand what democracy is. It's you who are trolling this thread. If you don't care about or like this thread, then don't post here.

Sometimes ago there has been a thread "Mumbai vs Shanghai" on skyscrapercity.com those comments were so interesting.

Well outsiders might have an impression on Shanghai that it's just a cold-blood communist city of concrete steel & glass, where people are aggressive only on money and power, they are not totally right. We have a big socially conscious populace, more and more NGO are established by Shanghai citizens to provide social welfare, civil protection. Blue Sky Rescue Team is one of those NGO, check this ...
