On topic, I doubt its in service, otherwise it wouldn't be transported on civilian trucks. It might be here for trials or something?

Or it could be Bhim self propelled howitzer?

Its definitely a MSTA-S.

PS: and definitely not the Bhim. It died years ago and you can even count the numbers of tires (are they called tires BTW?). The Bhim has 7 and the Russian one has 6.

I stand corrected, not the Bhim. But I don't think its MSTA-S either, as it has a much higher turret and its gun is different to this one.

But it surely resambles with k-9 thunder!!

India’s Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) has signed separate cooperation agreements with Nexter Systems and Samsung Techwin (STW) at DefExpo 2012 enabling the company to offer several weapons to meet the Indian Army’s various 155mm artillery requirements.

L&T and Nexter had previously agreed to jointly pursue the army’s 155mm/52cal Mounted Gun System (MGS) requirement but this collaboration has now been extended to cover the 155mm/52cal Towed Gun System (TGS) and the modernisation of the army’s M-46 130mm/39cal towed howitzer.

This must be the L&T/ Samsung K9 Thunder MKI
