Dumb, there were no jails for Hindu rulers in ancient times. If he was caught he would been killed. Rana Pratap was in Exile for years fighting against invaders till his last breath. He managed to keep PRIDE of Rajpoots warriors for years when Greatest Moghul King Akbar was against him.
