MPT-76 Battle Rifle | News and Discussions

I think we are entering, if we didn't already, an era where military products of producing countries will have similarities and overlapping with each other, whether deliberately or not. Besides, personally i don't agree that 'innovative look' should be a main criteria for MPT-76. At the moment criteria such as lethalithy, comfort, efficiency is more important in my eyes. i hope it will serve our army well.

Its seems like a good rifle and everything but 10 years from now its gonna look out dated. A bull pup 7.62 should have been developed. Like I said before the rifle needed to look unique for obvious reasons.

New video...

BTW people who don't know how to take a shot, shouldn't be in these kind of videos...

I hope that''s the case here.Because that recoil looks like the rifle is going to fly off...:disagree:

I realised why there is so much recoil. This guy isn't leaning forward and is firing in the chicken wing stance.Which makes it harder for the body to absorb the recoil, and sways the gun a lot.If you look at the picture you will see that the guy in the video is
doing 5 and 1 wrong.

Not as extreme as this but his stance is similar to this guy

1- The position and hold must be firm enough to support the weapon
2- The weapon must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
3- Sight alignment and sight picture must be correct
4- The shot must be released and followed through without undue disturbance to the position.

Marksmanship principles.

Good thing they were at infantry school.
