I am not sure how law works in Pakistan, but in India and rest of the world, it works on evidence. There is no direct evidence that Modi or for that matter Thackrey, was actively and consciously involved in the Gujrat, or Bombay riots. Yes, they could have behaved more sensibly, more responsibly but law works on raw evidence and not on general perception.

Asoka is not known for his hindu disposition. He is known and revered as a great Buddhist. The "Asoka Stambha" symbolizes what Asoka stood for, i.e. peace, tolerance and justice. It has nothing to do with Hinduism.

I think Zob is right. he must be as he just copy pastes stuff but when asked to prove the assertions resorts to name calling.

He has not proven yet how india is not secular but is a hindu state. he thinks outlawing discrimination is a religious decree. he thinks govt spending on somnath temple makes india a hindu state, but the at the same time govt spending on jama masjid does not make it a muslim state. govt barring prosylisation in tirupati is protection of hindus' right to practice religion is difficult for him to fathom. he'd rather these acts lead to riots so that he can write more abt india's failures but of course he fails to give examples of hindus prosylising at mosques.

Fortunately, all those who matter think our secularism, democracy is doing ok. He's free to believe what he wants, and we are free to belive what we want. thats how we do it in the Secular Democratic Republic of India
