Mother Teresa a noble soul: Kejriwal's reaction to Bhagwat's 'conversion' remarks

.
This is true for all of us bro , even i used to be against rss for most of my life, may be bcz media painted rss and vhp to be an anti-india and anti-secular organisations and it had a profound influence on me. My thoughts abt rss changed when i tried to get more info abt it. every time a natural calamity happens in India , rss was on the ground along with army in helping the local populace, even during the recent train mishap in karnataka , the local rss karyakartas were helping the victims along with the people. but , u dnt get to see this side of rss in media. there will be no mention of good work done by rss/vhp. the left leaning loonies in the media have to pay for there anti-rss propoganda..

Those were my classmates and the incharge is an assistant professor.
Same here there was once a time when I was an "atheist" , leftist, Congress supporting idiot..

Then when I realised how YSR aided missionary activities & how anti-Hindu Congress was in 2008, I became a centrist & slowly, slowly over the years, I gained more knowledge about how this anti-Hindu gang worked & along with that I got more in touch with my roots,my culture & my religion..

And the End result:- I am now a Hindutvavadi who is a supporter of the free market & Centre-Right economics+ a strong supporter & follower of Dharmic culture & values. :)

I have heard the story from meany people....exactly the same....see the problem is that the leftis thought infiltrates with the promise of goodwill and equality....its like swatcch bharath .... like you simply can not oppose it....but its a trojan horse that infects your mind and turns you into a self loathing leftist..... AAP is doing the same with their 'swaraj' campaign.
The blowback is that those who see past it become irrevocably rightists. :D

At the same time, the leftists have a monopoly of the public discourse(media, publishing houses, power etc) which is why many people fall for their leftist ideas!!

But not anymore, thanks to social media+the Modi sarkar, the much oppressed & abused Right-Wing has found it's voice & will now take the fight to the Enemy!!

EDIT:- what makes my tale slightly different from the other was that this realisation came to me when I was 12 years old!! I was interested in politics+current affairs+History since I was 8-9 years old& for 3 years I was a leftist, "secular" & "liberal" Congress supporter till I realised the truth!!

Thats quite early .... I have actually gone a few steps deeper and have developed more abstract ideas but that is for another time... :D .... they are like quantum physics .... not required to make a rocket ... useful nevertheless .... anyway.... yes social media has a different kind of power.... that certanly helps...... the social media impact is bottom up.... it works on the level of the individual .. its robust but slow....the left uses mass media and pulls of one time s.hit like delhi ... but its power is ultimately limited.

YSR almost sold the state to missionaries. two yrs back when i visited my native place i was surprised to see the extent to which these missionaries penetrated. Anantapur dsn't have any decent infrastructure but there were churches popping up every where... I heard situation is much worse in andhra... TG is a bit better when compared with these regions...

Yep, it's much worse in Andhra.. Much, much worse.. Thanks to the justice party mindset+the communist past of this region, many people aren't very Hindu nationalistic!! The missionaries literally had a field day over here in the last 10 years.
I estimate that about 15-25% of Coastal AP(if not Seema-Andhra itself) is Christian

but many people are still pious & loyal to the dharma & want to take the missionaries head-on

But yes, things are now thankfully changing now that Modi & CBN have come to power. VHP & other organisations are already actively working to ensure re-conversions all over AP & TG.

I find nothing wrong with theresa , she did her duty , I say hindus are stupid, we are so apologetic towards other faiths (Idk why are we apologetic in the first place) that we are ready to forgo the traditions and ridicule our own religion so that other religions can feel comfortable.. In my first yr of engg students from our college bus route formed an NGO, in order to support local orphanages by providing basic need through our pocket money . every month we used to visit a orphganage and help them by buying clothes or food material that they need. once we got to know about an orphanage being run by VHP, when we informed our bus Incharge about it he declined the idea of helping it, saying that it might hurt non-hindu students in our bus, and there were other hindu students who seconded his thoughts.. I was left there foolish defending that it is an orphanage and it is wrong to add religious color jst bcz it is being run by VHP. before thrashing theresa for her religious motives , we need to educate hindus to respect and stand for there religion.
No eyebrows would have been raised had this charity being done by Sri Sri or other similar Hindu religious group. But VHP, please accept that there is an obvious reason why those other Hindu students seconded his thoughts...

New Delhi:Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat's comments onMother Teresahave evoked a huge uproar across the political circle.

Bhagwat had on Sunday stoked a controversy by saying that the main objective behind Mother Teresa's service to the poor was conversion to Christianity.

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday strongly objected to Bhagwat's objectionable comments on Mother Teresa.

Kejriwal, the newly elected Delhi chief minister, who has worked with Mother Teresa in past, termed her as a 'noble soul' and urged the RSS top brass to spare her of such remarks.

I worked wid Mother Teresa for a few months at Nirmal Hriday ashram in Kolkata. She was a noble soul. Pl spare her.

Meanwhile, RSS ideologue MG Vaidya justified Bhagwat's statement saying that missionaries, which serve people, undertake the services to convert them to Christianity.

Trinamool Congress leader Derek O'Brien took the opportunity to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The TMC leader tweeted:

Now what will the pinstripe suit say to the khaki shorts about his views on Mother Teresa#condemn

— Derek O'Brien (@quizderek)February 23, 2015

Congress leader Rajiv Shukla demanded BJP's apology and said that Mother Teresa shouldn't be insulted. Shukla further said that his party will raise the issue in the Parliament.

Speaking at a function organised by NGO 'Apna Ghar' near Bharatpur in Rajasthan, the RSS chief said, "Mother Teresa's service would have been good. But it used to have one objective, to convert the person, who was being served, into a Christian."

"The question is not about conversion but if this (conversion) is done in the name of service, then that service gets devalued," he said.

"But here (at the NGO), the objective is purely service of poor and helpless people," added Bhagwat.

Congress leader Sachin Pilot, while criticising the statement by Bhagwat, said: "By giving these kind of statements, they (the RSS) are trying to create a religious divide. Mother Teresa comes from which religion does not matter, what matters most is the service she provided to the poor."

The RSS Chief was addressing a function in village Bajhera, near 8 kms from here, where he inaugurated 'Mahila Sadan' and 'Sishu Bal Grah' in the NGO for helpless women and children.

Later, RSS said on its twitter handle that the media reported "wrongly" and Bhagwat had only replied to former BSF DG's comments.

Media reporting wrongly. At Bharatpur Ex DG BSF said that Mother Teresa did Seva with motive of conversion.

— RSS (@RSSorg)February 23, 2015

In reply, Bhagavat said, "let Mother Teresa know her motive for Seva, we do Seva without expecting any returns" Dr M Vaidya

Bhai, there argument was based on the assumption that visiting an orphanage being run by one religious group, will be looked communal .. If we are to visit, an orphanage run by hindu organisation then we have to visit orphanages being run other religions too.. some other were of the opinion that as this orphanage is getting funded by vhp, there wont be any scarcity of funds and wanted to visit smeother orphanage that is in need of help. I did support this point in the end bcz vhp orphanage was quite spacious, clean and the children were wearing good clothes.

There are many who think so and there are also many who think otherwise... I've seen many poor muslims gathering at a temple near film nagar as food is distributed over there and you can see a similar view where non-muslims gather at Yousufain dargah as well. At the end of the day, if these people get benefited by this and have no qualms doing so, I don't think those who are uneasy over this idea should be worried...
