It gets off topic so Ill end it with this, the division of India has its roots not in any two nation theory or with Iqbal- but rather the very introduction of religion into politics via the Congress and Gandhi’s dramatic(intentional or unintentional) uses of his faith in the quest for freedom.Agreed and unfortunately it starts with Pakistan in this this region and probably end with India's radicalization very soon.
World is becoming more and more polar being divided on the basis of religion, Sad but it starts with division of India if that not happened (because of Nehru) India / this subcontinent probably be the best place to live in harmony.
Had that movement been solely based upon ethnicity and common culture- not only would partition been more organized and effective, it would have kept extremism in the subcontinent in check for eons.
