It might have been highly exaggerated...bcuz according to Plato it was passed down by generations in oral traditions. Hard to rule it out...bcuz Troy once thought to also be a myth...was found. I would just say the jury is still out on Atlantis.Atlantis extremely most likely didn't exist. Good idea though.
This is false, in my opinion. The 'legend' about the Atlas mountains stems from the mention of an Atlantides group by Herodotus. This has extremely most likely nothing to do with Plato's Atlantis, a philosophical construct.True. But legend has it existed in around the atlas mountains
Yes, anything is possible. Although a city like Troy from an Epic is far more likely to exist (such as from the Mahābhāratham or Rāmāyanam, although today's locations maybe wrong) than one mentioned soley by a philosopher. It might have been highly exaggerated...bcuz according to Plato it was passed down by generations in oral traditions. As a simple check, Herodotus' Atlantides would exist say thousands of years after Plato's chronological positioning of Atlantis.
Moroccans are essentially role-playing, but they wouldn't be the first or last to do so, which is why I'm not mocking them and instead calling it a good idea.

Flood Legends are part of every human civilization. Many places have gone under especially after the ice age. Just that Plato's Atlantis is likely a myth. Anyway, who knows.

Fake news. Atlantic is way north and has nothing to do with Morocco.
Atlantis was an ancient advanced civilization that even predates the Anicent egyptians and they were located in the Atlas mountains of current day Morocco. It seems like Morocco might be building cities shaped after Atlantis..
If you don't know what Atlantis shape looks like it is shaped like a circle city.
