Exactly that was my point earlier. That is why US crocodile tears are too transparent these days! But I do hope to see the camps scaled down still - only a small minority of Uighur may be troubled, it is best to return to Xinjiang like in 1990s-2009 era

US media is the most vibarant and the freest, yes. Sure some issues get more coverage, is there a media source you think is the standard bearer, which the US media should follow? I'm just trying to figure out how the Iraq war means US media cannot be trusted. In our Free press, the press also acts as check and balance on each other. One badly done news piece gets checked by another news source. Eventually, the truth comes out.

Living in US for several years, seeing their bad press about China everyday, which as a Chinese I clearly know are not true, I surely know so well how it works.

US media demonizes China everyday, but if China is really that bad and the Chinese government really that corrupt and incompetent, how come China can develop so fast and now US keeping saying China , China, China everywhere? That's a simply logic quesiton which few Americans ever thought about.

Cause this is an English forum, when I m in a Chinese forum I only quote Chinese sources, some reports are less biased against China than others, sometimes you have to choose lesser evils to make your point. I finished my college in US and worked for a couple of years before decided to come back to Beijing where I have more connections and better opportunities.

We don't hate you either, some of my best friends are Americans, pro China Americans actually, there are so many pro China Americans actaully. but we have different positions in this forum, that's it, I don't hate anyone or any country.

Yes I agree with you, but there are still too many cases of missing family members. That makes me uncomfortable to say there is nothing going on there. I hope China just makes the camps more short term so people can go back to the normal times again.

Exactly what are you agreeing with him on? Especially with a Chinese person lecturing us about the role of our free press. We may not be perfect but we are not China.

Have you seen US media reports on Kashmir, have you seen US govt reports on India's Human rights. A free Press naturally will concentrate on matters that affect the domestic environment. At least our Press writes about the world, can you tell us which Press you think is the standard?
