well said. Ofcourse this is the Most logical position.
why make a nation to fight and die for others under any circumstance.
Pak army is the last strong pillar along with popular support. if these two are evaded the whole nation will be at risk.
Pak should remain above all this and at the most it should Only offer to mediate among warring sides.
The fire is heading towards Tripoli. Jordan was already pounding Syria and now Egypt is bombing Libya. Iran and Saudi forces are exchanging fires from past few weeks on the Northern border and Yemini Shias start attacking from the South. Saudi king is much concerned about the safety of his family which is one of the reasons they called Pakistani and Turkish Prime minister for help. In my personal opinion, Pakistan should stay away from this because we don't need more enemies. If Saudi family have personal issues with Shias then that's their problem not ours. In addition, on one hand U.S is the greatest ally of Saudis and on the other hand they are trying to take the Iran-U.S relationship up to the different level which means U.S is not going to take any side for its personal interest so who is the closest ally of the Saudis? The answer is Pakistan and Turkey. Turkey already mentioned it to the Saudi King that they are dealing with Kurdish so in other words Turkish Prime minister is telling Saudi king that we have our own issues to deal with so what is the final option for the Saudi King? Off course Pakistan. They are basically paying us the blood money in advance but that money will end up in Nawaz Shareef's pocket. I think COAS needs to take this matter in his own hand.
