More than 50 afghan soldiers killed:IG FC

They want their historical territory back which was taken by British- Afghanistan is older than Pakistan-

This unites all warring Afghan fraction like Taliban along with the present Government-
the last time that happend the rulers enslaved killed and pillaged the non-pashtuns btw there are areas which were also ceded by the british and now are in hands of Tajikistan turkmenistan what about them are they gonna demand it to
the reality is that it is just an afghan pashtun fantasy with their ego coming in the equation of there being are great and superior country,
i PERSONALLY believe that it is good that this happened because we got a reality shock which has woken up from our slumber.

Villages had been vacated of people, heavy machinery, forces, ration for people shifted to the area. Such incidents test our preparedness which is good. We have to put lid on all these openings at all sides of our border with not only India but also Afghanistan and Iran as well since Afghanistan is also providing assistance to anti-Iran militants which ultimately is blamed on Pakistan.
i personally believe that our government hs learned nothing the recent like the recent statement from the ig fc about not being happy about the loss of muslim brothers

You inherited their land which they had to surrender to the imperial power British- try explaining your case to a Afghan- now that imperial power Britain/Russia no longer exists-

Add to that the humiliation of having their territory under the people whom they have ruled for most part of recent medieval history-

I am not Justifying their demands- Just trying to figure out their case-

The Mughals (Afghans) ruled pretty much all of India at one point. Please pardon me if I cannot help but see why they would only feel the humiliation in seeing their former lands governed by us and not you. Because you guys surely seem to check all the boxes you highlighted in bold.

Yes they have great differences but their idea of Afghan boundaries match-

like i said what about the land that the russians ceded ??

I think there have been five groups historically- even before Islam came- Yes they have great differences but their idea of Afghan boundaries match-

If Pakistan has already evacuated and surrendered Baluchistan and NWFP we can settle Kashmir with Afghans-

Now please stay on topic-
The suggestion i-e the map is coming from an Indian. So the logical thing would be for India to vacate the occupied Kashmiri territories first.

And before the Afghans, those area was under control of the Turks with Ak Huns, Göktürks, Timurids etc. Should we claim these lands just because we ruled them for centuries? o_O

Every people came from Afrika, and went to somewhere else. Claiming lands because of someone ruled that place is just stupid.

Afghanistan must respect Pakistan, or they will lose Turkey's friendship as well.

The first homo sapiens evolved in Africa but first humans may have started out somewhere else.

Once again. Let it remain a bilateral issue and things will settle down.

Common interest should form alliances and not foreign interest.

You got that wrong- Turks are not a homogeneous ethnical group or even a linguistic group- The turks(central asian tribes) who ruled Afghans were themselves slaves of Muslim or Gulam they later formed their own kingdoms and empires later and they employed Afghans groups as Gulam and later these Afghan groups claimed their land after Mongol tribes occupied and finished turkish groups- There are still some like Tajik and Mongol-Turk groups like Uzbeg who are part of Afghanistan- But they are in minority and equally support the Majority when It comes to Durand line-

African is not a nationality-

Turkey is irrelevant in this picture other than moral support to either group- Besides Afghans have little to loose especially since Turkey is on the side of Pakistan-

Just like they simply left Mizar-e-Sharif at "around a hundred casualties".

Forget that. Torkham incident where they again and again kept screaming the gate us not being built. Even ghani said and zakhilwal that construction has stopped but ISPR and our media said the construction is happening but they denied and now there is a gate in torkham and the afghans were silent. Infact the US has also stated that the afgha. Army overstates numbers of army, casualties inflicted and casualties received. I remember reading an article that general did not disclose casualties to keep getting the dead soldiers pay check. Not too mention a full front account of a journalist and how they determine casualties. It was very surprising. Even now their media is saying that Taliban are dying by the dozens in kunduz khanabad road yet the Taliban are advancing forwards and stand on the outskirts with kubduz surrounded. Nobody was expecting them to say yep that's right.

Anyhow I trust spring onion and my military far more than drug dealers.

Very surprising is the presence of Indians. Its like we are talking about Indian army.

Mughals were not Afghans- actually they killed most Afghans and their brutality on Afghan is legendary- From Babur to Akbar to Aurangzeb-

The closest group to Mughal these days would be the Uzbegs-

In India we have people like Mani Shankar Aiyer and other who have been to parliament and have all good opinions about Pakistan- now taking their views as the National view of Indians would be exaggeration IMHO-

I have heard there are similar parliamentarians in Pakistan-
