When you have multiple correlational studies showing the same thing like the one I stated before along with other studies like that of William Marshall (1989) confirming that rapists and child molesters accessed pornography far more than men who weren't sexual offenders it raises serious questions regarding the damaging effects of pornography (though you are right it doesn't necessary prove that it is the result of ****). However, the findings of those correlational studies are better understood when we examine non-correlational studies like Malamuth and James Check (1981), Charles Mullin and Daniel Linz (1995) along with reports like the "Social science consensus at Surgeon Generals Workshop on Pornography and Public Health" (1987) all of which confirm that **** portraying even mild sexual aggression as pleasurable resulted in men seeing violence and the use of coercion against women as more acceptable.

So you totally discount what Dr. Jill Manning testified to at the US Senate because of the organization she is with? Before you do that read her testimony because she makes it a point to cite empirical evidence from peer reviewed journals not just her own personal opinions.

Furthermore, her testimony isn't simply confined to how pornography negatively effects marriages but also how it impacts men's perception of women, the idea of marriage and engaging in healthy relationships with their female counterparts, etc... which is what Warren Farrell has extensively written on as well.
