Mohammed Morsi: Egypt's ex-leader sentenced to death

I don't agree with this brother. Do you know who rules Egypt and have done so since the royal family was removed in the early 1950's? The Egyptian military. Do you know that they have been one of our closest allies since before Mubarak? We have no reason to have any conflict with Egypt whatsoever. Instead we should aim to cooperate with a brotherly Arab/Semitic/Muslim neighbor in Egypt just like our aim should be to have good ties with every single Arab country and major powers. I would want us to have good relations with not only the US, West and China but also Russia. Why not? Differences are no static and can be worked out.

Of course we should always be cautious and it's no different with the current Egyptian regime. I am sure that the rulers already know this.

Our only real eternal enemies are the Farsi Mullah's and their lapdogs. Nobody else.
What if it blows back in our face? There's already a lot of hate coming our way from Tunisia because we gave asylum to their dictator. and even some Yemenis hold a grudge for fixing up Saleh. Imagine what would happen when Egyptians revolt again, and believe me, if nothing is changed, it will happen sooner or later, and it will dwarf all revolutions and it will burn everything around it. We should at least use our influence to expedite a positive change from within the military regime to get rid of its most corrupt heads. And to stop the cracking down on freedoms, maybe then a scary outcome of this mess can be avoided.

No one cares about what an Indian thinks about internal Middle Eastern affairs. So stay out of it.

Ever heard about Indo Arab League.

Hyderabad: Palestine will confer ‘Star of Jerusalem’, the highest civilian award, on Syed Viqaruddin, chairman of Indo-Arab League, in recognition of his support for their cause.

Palestinian President Mahmood Abbas has sent a high-level delegation led by his special advisor and Palestine’s Supreme Judge Mahmoud Sidqi Al-Habash to India for doing the honours.

Al-Habash told reporters here on Thursday that Viqaruddin was being honoured for “his continued, principled support for the Palestinian struggle for statehood for last four decades”.

He said that Palestine received support from India, through Indo-Arab League, Hyderabad.

The award will be presented here on Saturday.

Viqaruddin, who is also the chief editor of Urdu daily “Rahnuma-e-Deccan”, played a key role in mobilising India’s support for the Palestinian cause.

Gunmen kill 3 Egyptian judges in Sinai hours after Morsi sentenced to death | Siasat
May 17:
Hours after an Egyptian court handed down death penalty to ousted leader Mohamed Morsi, three judges have been shot dead in the Sinai Peninsula.

Police said the judges were travelling in a car in the city of Al Arish when suspected Islamist gunmen attacked them, reported The Independent.

Another fourth person was killed and three others were injured in the attack.

It is unclear if the attack was linked to anger over the death sentence handed down to Morsi in Cairo but Egyptian government has often blamed Muslim Brotherhood supporters for violence in Sinai in the past.

The Muslim Brotherhood has been banned and hundreds of its former officials and supporters have been arrested and jailed.

Morsi and over 100 other people were sentenced to death on Saturday over a mass prison break during the 2011 uprising that toppled Morsi's predecessor, Hosni Mubarak .(ANI)

The hell are you smoking? Saudi Arabia was one of the firsts to recognize the new regime, and embarked on a crusade to prove that his ousting wasn't a coup but a popular revolution.

i never said saudia is against hamas... hamas is basically the palestine branch of egyptian ikhwaan... of late, hamas had three parents - saudia, iran and nato/uno. :D

those may be a branch of the egyptian ikhwaan but it is the egyptian ikhwaan that has been predominant in africa and syria and gaza.

No they're not, "Ikhwan" means Brothers in Arabic. The Saudi "Ikhwan" (Not Saudi "Ikhwan Muslimeen" AKA Muslim brotherhood) Are a group of tribal people that supported King Abdulaziz unite the peninsula under one kingdom.

Anyway.

Hazzy crying into his Koran

Good to see the leader of the original terrorist group that has spawned Al Qaeda, HAMAS, ISIS, Islamic Jihad etc is going to face justice.

That's exactly correct. The amount of destruction they brought into ME, including Egypt, is unforgivable.
PS. You just need to add AKP(MB of Turkey) to the list as well.

i have also seen you support isis and fsa and nusra etc.

by the way, to avoid the international critics, i have a question for you Egyptians here:
why you don't let Morsi in a monitored home for life ?
@Mahmoud_EGY ?
because he is the head of a terrorist organization and their reaction after he was forced out of power by the people and the army caused a lot of death all over Egypt also they may negotiate but be sure they will strike the second you turn your back and they dont care about the country or the life of the people and willing to sacrifice millions to rule beleive me they already did their worse
