Having said that, this pesky ban that was always in place in many states is suddenly being presented as something new and a big deal being made. Yes it is about hindu sensitivities that have a potential law and order issue. For example you will be punished in India if you draw muhammad, even in a non insulting way. Same reason. Sensitivities with a law and order potential issue. Same goes for rashdis book and even the da vinci code movie. Muslims follow their own personal law, where is separation of religion and state then?

All this bs being spouted by media is politically motivated. India bans slaughter of manu animals, not just cow. Nowhere in islam it says its a duty to kill a cow. Same as it does not say its a duty to shoot a tiger. India bans slaughter of cow and tiger, and that is small price to pay for maintaining social harmony. If anyone does not want social harmony, they can move to syria, yemen, iraq, lybia, afghanistan, pakistan etc. then they will know what are real issues and what are issues created just to niddle hindus.

Kozhikode: Kerala has the dubious distinction of being the most morbid state in India, according to a survey by the National Sample Survey Organisation. A seminar on 'medicine, health and society', organised by the Indian Medial Association, pointed out that Kerala reported 250 per cent more hospital visits than the national average.

Rural areas are sicker, the survey suggests. As many as 310 people in every thousand fell sick in rural areas in two weeks, compared to 306 in urban areas. In a year, 117 in every thousand has been hospitalised in rural areas, compared to 99 in urban areas.

Most muslims cant live without beef or red meat,their nerves will stop being responsive.

I have experienced this myself when i ate red meat extensively,quitting red meat is worse than quitting cigarettes.

Hindu farmers can and will manage this small problem very easily.

Kerala on a Beef High with 2,50,000 Metric Tonnes

KOCHI: As the controversy over beef ban gains momentum, the row over cow slaughter took an ugly turn with the minister of state for agriculture Sanjeev Balyan criticising the Kerala government and Congress for not encouraging beef ban. Beef consumption in Kerala has touched a record high with people consuming over 2,50,000 metric tonnes beef in the last fiscal year. According to statistics available with the animal husbandry department, there is a steady rise in beef consumption in Kerala despite the spread of various zoonotic diseases over the years.

Speaking to The Sunday Standard, director of animal husbandry department Dr Chandrankutty said the state has consumed over 4,45,000 metric tonnes meat in 2014-15. Of the total meat production in the last fiscal year, 2,50,000 metric tonnes was of beef followed by 1,64,000 metric tonnes of chicken, 18,000 metric tonnes of mutton and 15,000 metric tonnes of pork. In 2013-14, Keralites consumed over 4,16,000 metric tonnes meat whereas it was 4,01,000 metric tonnes in 2012-13. In 2011-12 the number stood at 4,25,000 metric tonnes while it was 3,41,000 metric tonnes in 2010-11. This shows that even amid the spread of various zoonotic diseases like kysanur forest disease, kala azar, avian influenza, anthrax, brucellosis, zoonotic rabies, salmonellosis, worm infestations etc, there is a steady rise in the consumption of beef in Kerala.
Of the total 2,50,000 metric tonnes of beef produced in last fiscal year, 1,40,000 metric tonnes meat was from cattle and 1,11,000 metric tonnes was buffalo meat. T P Sethumadhavan, director of entrepreneurship, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Science University, said that there are less than 100-odd authorised slaughter houses and more than 3,000 unauthorised slaughterhouses operational in the state which slaughter, both legally and illegally, roughly 2.5 crore cattle every year, making the state vulnerable to the spread of zoonotic diseases. “The animal husbandry department is in the process of setting up more scientific slaughter houses in the state in cooperation with local self government department, Suchitwa Mission and other government agencies,” said Dr Chandrankutty.

We know majority is bafellow meat, we call bafellow meat also as beef, and as the majority of population is Christian & Muslim and also many keralites are gulf returned they tend to eat beef, and also the economic condition of Kerala is not good, keralites survive solely on gulf renumaration, those men who live in gulf who live on beef thrown at them by the sheiks has learnt to eat it, OK if the muslims don't care for Hindus sensitivity then why should Hindus care for u, we may openly slaughter pigs and eat them, and pork is my staple food
