Today when Arnab asked why Temple in a Muslim-majority are must have Loud-speakers, one guy on the show asked why should Mosques in Hindu-majority areas have loud-speakers. NO ANSWER.

The Actual word that was inserted was "PANTH NIRPEKSHTHA" which actually means "indifference to any faith".

However since our constitution DOES differentiates people on the basis of religion E.g. Reservation on the basis of HINDU caste, Hindu undivided family, Separate law for muslims etc.

One of this contradiction must be corrected.

Either we remove the word "secular" OR we remove the religious pandering.

Both cannot co-exist together.

The Indian constitution was a "hindutva" constitution till Indira gandhi inserted the world "panth nirkpeshta" into the preamble.

That is why our official National calendar is the Hindu sakha calendar, the name is Bharat, etc...etc..

India was created after the partition of Pakistan and Bengal so it was deemed to be Hindustan. It was a land for the Hindus (substitute Dharmic) with Hindu values (substitute again, since As per SC constitutional bench hindu is a way of life).

Indira Gandhi changed that after the Bangladesh war to support her war to justify creation of Bangladesh and separation from Pakistan.
