Narendra Modi: the divisive manipulator who charmed the world | World news | The Guardian

Uh Abingdonboy is FROM the UK, something like this would have been all over their news, if he lives in London he would have SEEN this?

.
BJP is still the largest party in Bihar in terms of vote share. Congress party kept on criticizing Modi for decade & he became PM of India from being nobody. Modi is already the 9th most powerful leader in world.

and George Cloony is the sexiest man in the world

I don't live in London mate but I can assure everyone that the palace of Westminster does not offer itself up for paid advertisements especially not for propaganda against a visiting world leader who the UK is looking to conduct extensive business with.

(oh and say that did happen- it would be HUGE news here but I have seen nothing-not a peep)

The sheer stupidity you would have to display to actually believe this happened is simply mind boggling.

I think queen is passed off after India asked for our stolen Diamond by her goons

Controversy around Narendra Modi in the UK
Modi's visit to the UK comes at a controversial time in the Prime Minister's leadership as many have begun questioning him about his silence over recent unrest in India. In October more than 40 Indian writers returned top national awards in protest over a "climate of intolerance" under Modi's rule in India. At the same time, more than 40 British MPs have signed an Early Day Motion calling on David Cameron to address human rights issues in India with Modi. Newly elected Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is among those to sign the motion.

Paul Monaghan of the Scottish National Party (SNP), who sponsored the motion, told IBTimes UK: "While I recognise and respect the right of the people of India to develop their culture and society as they see fit, I would equally, with the greatest of respect, ask political leaders in India to review the circumstances surrounding the hunger strikes and other protests currently being undertaken by individuals fighting for recognition of human rights in that country."

This is not something new. When Xi visited there were similar protests and campaigns too. British society is fked up. Anjum Choudary is welcome, but Modi is not.

We welcome every leader or even common citizen to the U K, since its not in our habit to be rude to our guests , just like the Chinese leaders recent visit there was also Chinese human rights activist/campaigners,Tibetans, Falun Gong etc who protested(we are a liberal democracy so people are free to protests) but they were all kept under control, so nothing got out of hand, i don't think Modi's visit will be any different, so expect a warm welcome like we always do.:victory1:

I am sure Modi will be welcomed just like Xi. UK has made China and India their preferred partners for 21st century and Modi's reception will be commensurate with that.

Jeremt corbyn the leftists has made me lose all respect/support i had for Labour. He and some of his members keep clamouring how Britain should keep raising human rights issues with all our partners and allied even at the risk of our intetests, he even went as far as claiming we should not commemorate the death of our soldiers who fought and died for our narion during the past wars/conflicts we fought since according to him thats not right, he also wants ua to scrap our nuclear subs/weapons etc. In short, this guy is a hugeeee joke. Labour with him as their leader will go down even further than than they are already. He is not even somebody we should be worried about. its like a clown. :disagree:

Anyway , we have no business in how India, China, KSA etc treat their citizens. Thats not our business, we should focus on our own people ONLY and give them the best rights/freedom/living standards we can , Others countries issues is none of our business. We should look only after our interests. :bounce:
