What part of that rant has anything to do with my post that you quoted?no wonder Pakistanis are called delusional and are laughed at for frog in well atitude....
Wake up!! Pakistan is insignificant in contemporary world order and will remain so for at least a century...you neither have an economy to show for or a military that threatens anyone...more importantly there is no visible or palable change on the ground...Pakistan has nothing to offer to the world...so learn to live with it....you are insignificant!!
The idea behind quoting a post is to respond to the comments in the quote, not go off on an unrelated rant.
Please don't attribute comments or ideas to me that I never articulated. I never said there was 'anything wrong' with the UAE or any other country investing in India. My comments were directed at people who seem to believe that the UAE's investment decisions in India are tied to the India-Pakistan dynamics - they are not. Nor are the UAE's investment decisions in India tied to the UAE-Pakistan relationship.May be correct but what is harm in getting $$$ from UAE
The one thing we do know from observing international economic investments by the GCC countries is that they are always based on cold hearted cost-benefit analyses of the investment.
Where the GCC countries depart from this approach is with charitable donations (hospitals, schools, monetary and goods support for health, education projects etc) and strategic loans/grants. Examples of the latter are the massive Saudi financial aid packages for Egypt and the various oil and financial off sets offered to Pakistan.
