Billion tsunami tree is needed in pakistan, as most of parts of pakistan is dry with just 3% of area covered with forest, while in India it is 23%, even when India is a big country.

Okay. Just to make it clear.PM IK already said that Sehat Insaf card will be extended to all Pakistan. Starting from the Inclusion of FATA (tribal areas) amd Islamabad this year. (Baad me taany na dety phirna national level ka hamse copy kia ))...

On a serious note, it doesnt matter who started it. Only Who (among countries and provinces of sub-continent) is providing such facilities to its citizens, matters. People (specially poor people) of sub-continent suffered alot. 30-40% of a middle class family earnings go to healt expenditures. Medical insurance is a much needed thing for every country to provide its citizens. I do hope Bangladesh also start such schemes (if they dont have already) . @BDforever , if you can educate us on implementstion of such scheme in bangladesh.

Also, such projects (like billion tree tsunami) also bring a national spirit and sense of responsibility in citizens. Much needed projects. I hope india too initiate a billion tree project in Indian punjab amd haryana areas. As these areas lack (have less tree cover) as compare to south India.

Indian punjab is mostly cultivated land like wheat,rice,sugarcane,cotton etc and so tree tsunami not required as basically agricultural products based on trees like Rubber,Mango,Cashew,Coconut etc are less.Most of trees in India comes as natural and not planted one.In fact Punjab and haryana have greenery with cultivated land and water distribution
