Modi calls Bangabandhu “hero for all Indians”

Agree with Modi Jee. Sheikh Mujibur Bangabandhu is a Hero and inspiration for all Indians.

Have nothing but admiration for the Great Man who lead from the front and won freedom for his people from an oppressive and racist regime.

from his personality he looked like a perfect bangali bhadralok .

And we thank India for creating Bangladesh .. now India on verge of losing Assam due to land erosion in Bangladesh.... good luck. Karachi already facing issues due Bangla people migration in last few decades.

No worry, we'll over run them areas along with our Rohang kin.
To the Bangladeshis who shamelessly talk about handing over these Rohingyas to Indians, to Malays, to Indonesians have some shame, there's a storm brewing in the east and west and we talk about disbanding them when we will be the ones(Bangladeshis) to experience this worldly 'Duzokh'.

No Dada, just a Sylheti Bangali : )
Dada dadoo doesn't really roll here, although I meet some friendly west bengali students here in the UK that don't really express such emotions here but they are very keen on taking ketamine and other such chemical forms ; )

TBH I can see why both India and Bangladesh get along. Only those who kill their founding fathers can understand the deep link between them. Maybe shooting Gandhi and Mujib teaches lesson that we should assasinate the most beloved figure of our nation.

TBH, Gandhi was a great leader. His death really saddens me. Mujib, not so much. But I still do pray sincerely as a Muslim that Allah forgives his sins and grant him Jannah.

Mujeeb was just a cog, he played his role and he died when the world needed him no more.

The rule of the world, you play until you can't anymore.

That may help you sleep better at night. It's equally possible though that he simply wasn't enough of a "hero" to enough people to avert his fate.

You're wrong in your assumption.

This is all irrelevant to me and has no impact on my life but it certainly has an impact on Pakistan and it's image in the minds of Pakistanis and foreigners alike.

Painting mujeeb xyz will not absolve your leaders of their sins and the masses of the west for supporting them, revisionism will get you nowhere.

It plays little to no role in the life of any Bangladeshi, we are just eternally grateful to God for a country of our own.

I hope you remember Gandhi's so-called "experiments" of sleeping fully naked with his grandniece and other women, I had a lot of respect for him, but then I woke up when I learnt about these hidden facts. They keep reminding us of our shortcomings, I think it's rude not to return the favour.

There is a detailed history around these facts now, it'll be a shame if we choose to forget. There are even reports of people telling him not to do it, so Gandhi was aware it was wrong, but he never stopped. I suppose he had his needs.

May it live and prosper forever,
Ameen.
