Is there any respectable politician in Pakistan who could have a firm grip over the army and drive a pure pro- development government?

Our Govt cannot deal with your army due to obvious reasons including protocol among others and if NS does not have political capital to make any substantial deals with India, then who does?

I said most, not all. Imran hopefully can and he's financially clean. Do you know that our current finance minister is '' Samdhi '' of Nawaz and confessed in a written statement in court for laundering money for Nawaz, not to mention both have empires outside Pakistan? They came into power and started running country as business so the Establishment ( not Army itself for power ) had to get the business running, the cleaning you see being done wouldn't be possible if you give absolute power to so called fake-mendate democrats

I think he had the right idea to begin with, but the US deliberately? sabotaged talks by killing Hakimullah Mehsud, and that opened the floodgates.. first Jinnah airport, then PNS zulfikar, and then eventually the attack on the army school kids..

I'm assuming the NSA meet would be as important as that of the premiers.

Modi sure knows that he's on the hitlist of many terrorist organisations, and this visit to Pakistan would be a challenge to all such organisations.

It will be interesting to see the kind of security measures the Indian side takes during this visit, the SPG don't mess around when it comes to the PM's security so we can expect some elaborate steps taken.

IIRC NSG teams were deployed when the PM of India visited Pakistan last time to provide perimeter security for the hotel where the PM was staying and other sites he would visit.

It is not right for Modi to travel to Pakistan. He is the only leader whose life might be threatened in Pakistan due to his controversial past. You never know if another bodyguard of Salman Taseer

That is why the proximity security will be handled by the Indian SPG who will be tacking no chances with the Indian PM's security.

There is no chance of a repeat of Salman Taseer, the Indian side is not going to trust the Pak side with the security of their PM.

The sad thing is that there is a distinct paucity of material to work with when it comes to the SPG, despite the fact they surround the most public politician in India they receive little to no coverage/attention by the media on a day to day basis. Otherwise I would LOVE to be creating new SPG videos from time to time.
