The navy might have seen a valid reason for having the Turkish upgrade and I do appreciate it given the conditions we are stuck in. It'll be interesting to see how the Hangor truly pans out. There are hints from reliable folks here (like @Rashid Mahmood -- who said the PN MILGEM will have VLS long before it was confirmed).

I hope it's based on CSIC's newer single-hull designs, like the S1100.

The Hangor's displacement is 2,800 tons, can you imagine how much you'd need to pack into a single-hull submarine to achieve that mass? These subs would be monsters.
