Moderna vaccine experience in Bangladesh

Ok, I’ll make this short and quick since I’ve to use VPN to visit here.
in dhaka they’re giving out moderna. Except dhaka residents who had their first dose, Pfizer and AstraZeneca in other regions.
people are dumbasses, they have all registered to be vaccinated in dhaka, people from teknaf, Chittagong etc are coming to dhaka and waiting front of the hospital from 3 am and causing massive lines.
Anyways I had my first dose so here are the symptoms

1st day pain in arm Muscle, unable to do flection and extension movements followed by severe chest pain the likes I’ve never experienced before, pain of heartbreak is nothing lol
Anyways apparently mRNA vaccines (Pfizer and moderna) can exhibit severe chest pain among young adult males and lead to complications such as myocarditis and pericarditis
As y’all know those disease exhibit similar pain pattern like Myocardial infarction
2nd day arm pain just like before
3rd day my arms felt lighter than before but my back hurt
4th day, I had mild chest pain again today, 10% of what I experienced on first day.

that’s all… I’ll be taking 2nd dose in a months time. Will update on this thread soon

My Pfizer shot did that to me.. day #3 and I still can't flex my left arm to the full extent.


Other than that, thankfully, no fever or any other pain.. mostly just discomfort and difficulty sleeping with a sore arm.

They’re following WHO guidelines. But my mom received her second dose two days before her due date.
so I reckon it’s a supply issue

Moderna has very severe post dose symptoms

1.I had bad pain in the arm where it was injected. But it was only localised to the injected area. However had difficulty sleeping sideways due to the pain.
2.Fever of upto 102.5 for 48 hours
3.Disorientation and feeling extremely lethargic
4.Chest felt heavy for 2 to 3 days

Was in this condition after both doses. All these symptoms suddenly disappeared on the 3rd or 4th day though.

My Pfizer shot did that to me.. day #3 and I still can't flex my left arm to the full extent.

Excellent - the more of discomfort means your immune system is working overtime.

I felt nothing the day I got Moderna. However, during the night I started feeling muscle pain in the arm. Also got a bit of a fever for a few hours (3-4 hours max). The next morning I had quite a bit of muscular pain but only during movement. 2 days later and everything was normal.

Yeah a lot of people have such symptoms. Few vvips have taken it in Pakistan and reported such pains

You'll experience some pain for couple of days

I had Moderna 1st dose last week here in Karachi and only felt localized pain in arm. Even then I was able to move arm and do normal function but there was pain. It went away after 2 days. Other than that, nothing happened.

Same here. No pain in arms no more
Had no fever either (day 5)

just severe chest pain a few hours after 1st dose

I, 31 yo male, received two Pfizer shots in London.

First shot: No symptoms whatsoever, not even sore arm.

2nd shot: Slight soring of the arm after 10 hours, which could only be felt by applying direct pressure, like during sleep. But otherwise, no symptoms


In both cases, I went out mountain biking regardless. Which I won't recommend. Symptoms vary widely between organisms

That’s right. the second dose, I had all the symptoms of the first one plus I had a really bad back ache as well in my lower back.

Its normal. After one week, you will feel almost nothing. I also got Moderna shot, felt almost the same (first shot nothing happened, second shot and my world was upside down).
