According to Turkish defence media Milgem Project has been changed to 2 + 2 + 4 + 4 batches.

-Milgem-S project which will be production of 6 more Milgem soon will start with chosen company.-F-513 to be built by Istanbul Naval Shipyard with chosen company. And it follows F-514.
-F-513/F-514 will be structurally same ship But their hardware will be modified... With new combat managment system instead of GENESSIS, called ADVENT. There will be new kind of EW System and provision for new missiles.


-F-515/F-516/F-517/F-518 will be longer, wider ships although classified as corvette (3000-3500T).Those 4 ship will have medium range air-defence missiles, various smart munitions, and ASW equipment..

-F-519/520/521/522 classifed as a frigate...

I don't know. Most probably, It is about How the officials want to call the platform like that. You know TF-2000 will have a deplacement about 6500-7000tonnes and It is called as frigate. In this aspect, Calling a ship which has a deplacement around 3000t as corvette is normal...

their is no set norm for classification of corvette, Frigates and destroyers it solely depends on the size and tonnage of the Naval fleet of the respective country , even jamran class 1600 odd tonnage ship is called destroyer in your closed vicinity

Jamaran has some special equipments on board that Western Destroyers don't so It is called destroyer despite having a deplacment of 2500t...

Although a much better option than F-22Ps and we can name it as F-22P and produce in three blocks with 7 ships from each block that are multi mission in terms of operations.

Long term projects: TF2000, Turkish Type Fast Attack Craft, 600 tons coast guard vessel, minesweepers, training schooners.

Estimated cost of the all planned shipbuilding projects : 6,8 billion USD. To make a comparison the total contract value of the proceeding naval projects is 8 billion USD.

Important budgets:

LPD: 1,7 billion $
TF-2000 frigate: 1,6 billion $

That mean we will sooner see a indigenous Designed Submarine than TF-2000 AAW Frigates/Destroyers ?

No, for indigenous Submarine, it is just the conceptual design, we have to build U-214TN with German in order to get know-how before.

TF-2000 is not a big deal, the main part or this frigate is APAR radar.
