Pompeo, has gotten a free ride so far because he dwells in foreign affairs and most Americans don't care very much about it.
Should he decide to run for the POTUS, a lot of hot air will come out of him, pun intended here.... When his life and public service record is scrutinized in great detail. He will make an early exit from any presidential race. I know he carries a lot of weight oversees, literally, but domestically he is a light weight.
