I doubt it's actually so ...it probably is an illusory feeling. I remember those days with the 256 Kbps connection and I was so thrilled ...but now I'm not satisfied even with a 40 mbps connection ...I suppose wants increase with the increase in speed

I feel the code written now days is not written and tested for best utilization of resources. It is more on the functionality without taking into consideration of sparse resources at underdeveloped or developing countries.
