Migration Dream Over For Young Pakistani ‘Catastrophe’

Strange as it may seem to you.

Believe me, all what you have written applies in equal measure to Indians too.

yea, mostly indian lower class youth from punjab and guj are like that.
most poor indians prefer to go to gulf or singapore earn some money and come back to india.
there is a classs of taxi driver types that desperately want to go there. but its differenet for pakistanis. i know some pak guys well educated who married just for staying in their host country.

May I suggest that you stop classifying humans according to lower / middle / upper classes. All humans have the desire to improve themseves.

Next, once again - Indians , Bangladeshis , Paksitanis, Sri Lankans, Nepalese - all those who leave their shores invariably want to prolong their stay & send money home.

They all use all possible methods to extend their stay - marriage is one of them.

My views.

Hes was an illegal immigrant for godsake - If I were French I'd be demanding my $230,000 in tax payer's money back.......!

Reminds me of an incident...(in a nutshell) An Indian guy.. in Germany ,2 years ago he was caught without a valid visa or legit papers to stay in Germany. he lived there for about 10 years Illegally... but prior to his deportation to India.. he got married to a German girl just a few months earlier... but the court did not take this into account.. and deported him and as he was declared a `dangerous` punjabi guy(as he said he willl kill fellow passengers in teh plane..if deported . loll stupid a$$) , So he had to be escorted back to India with 2 or 3 security guards (for otheres safety)... while in India he appealed in German Embassy to give him visa as he was married to the local girl there.. they put a condition before giving him a visa... " Give us back our 20,000 €`s for the guards who escorted you, their stay of couple of says in India , solicitors fee and ur free accomodation in Dutch jail accompanied with free food u gulped down that fat throat of yours.
Fair enough I say.

^^^ If he was pale skinned, blue eyed and blonde haired would the French government have adopted the same attitude? In fact, would you bozos have adopted the same attitude? He was a teen when he was sent to France as a refugee. The French accepted him as a refugee. Now he is sent back to a land which is as foreign to him as Russia would be. And you guys think it is funny

Exactly, I can't understand why he & certain figures, mentioned in the article, are acting as if France owes him something - He came there as an illegal immigrant who was fed, clothed & trained by French tax payer's money ! I'm sure the deportation sucks but France didn't owe him sh*t to begin with, if anything why the heck wasn't he deported earlier & why was a reasonably large amount that could have been invested back into the French Economy or used up on a needy French citizen wasted on someone who isn't even one of your own ?

If I were French, I'd be mightily pissed at this - Eikk tou choooriii uppper siii phir seenaa zooori !

Hold on. He was "taken into the care of the State". The French government accepted him as a refugee. For whatever reason they did, it doesn't alter the fact that he was granted a refugee status as a minor/child. So what made the French government wake up and realise that this refugee no longer qualifies as a refugee? Islamophobia? Asianophobia? Racism? Read inbetween the lines before condemning the victim

here in lies a serious problem. These are economic migrants. things are getting tough in EU and jobs are hard to find even for locals much less for foreigners. there is another stream of workers coming in from EU itself which cannot be refused on account of laws so the EU Governments are taking a tough line on these immigrants. It is funny that on the one hand we malign our Afghan brothers who have outstayed their welcome yet when the same is metted out to us we cry a river of tears. So the message is get on with it, you have learnt a trade which can get you a livelihood in Pakistan as good Plummers are hard to come by. Stop sitting on your arse and moping and make a life for yourself.
