Yes,that will indeed prove jf 17 shot down a mig 21 and it was not a ground to air missile or malfunction
Reality is simple

One aircraft was shot down

the other mi 17 possibly based upon eye witness(likely friendly fire)

Rest are all rumours till we have evidence

What shot it down is impossible to say but from deployment maps it seems thunders will respond first just like one can predict the mig21s wil from India side

one R-73 missile was found on crash site

Did you ever wonder how PAF is claiming the kill without showing any of those .I am sure jf 17 too has cameras
Those were BVR kills ... THere is no camera recording but radar's data

two aircrafts were shot this is not debateable, it was accepted by ex IAF officers as well and all over international media ... Generally international media do not put incorrect fact ...

The malfunction was not anywhere but in the gray matter inside the skull of IAF chief for sending in rust buckets to challenge PAF.

The EW Equipement (ECM, ECCM, RWR, and Jamming Pod), Datalinks/Comms, and the Radar all need to be thoroughly studied.

The missiles, WVR and and possible BVR missiles on board should be studied for any unique Indian modifications that would give away procedures and techniques of the IAF

Studying the Avionics, maintenance quality, and piecing together how an IAF pilot operates will help the PAF get inside the IAF OODA loop. many tactics can be developed from the knowledge this plane can teach the PAF.

All data regarding the recent PAF vs IAF combat engagement at our side and perhaps the Indian side is available on the Airborne Radar Systems operated by both countries.

Though that are many articles and news feeds going about, however, I haven't read one that breaks down and raises a number of issues we've been going at here on Pakistan Defence for days.

Surprisingly, neither of us have so far focused on the Flight Data Recorder of the MiG-21 (Bison) which was piloted by Wng Cmdr Abhinandan Varthaman.

Below is part of an article that was published in the Asia Times on the 5th of March.

“It is true that the MiG-21 pilot would have had made some recordings of the air engagement, both audio and video,” a former IAF fighter pilot said on condition of anonymity. “Right from the 1970s, MiG-21s had cameras in the gun and missile pods. Any launch is recorded and if there are any ‘kills’ it should have been recorded. This should also be available in the on-board avionics. But the Pakistanis have it now,” he said.

“However, even a radio transmission, as well as data from the Airborne Early Warning (AEW) that had taken off when the first PAF fighters were detected, should have some data, including the loss of a radar blip, if the MiG-21 had shot it down. Even Wing Commander Abhinandan’s radio transmissions should be available and we can check them to see if he did report a ‘kill’ before going down,” the Indian fighter pilot said.

Only confirm kill is the mig 21. All else is bullshit to me.

A captured pilot and 2 downed planes are more credible than blips and dots on the in-flight radar or any gun camera
