Hundi is an illegal system and no one knows the source and destination of funds. It could be payment for criminal transactions being routed via Bangladesh and India to else where. In money laundering terms its called layering.Indians benefit to the tune of $40 Billion per year approximately (unofficial estimates by Indian organizations), including remittances by Indian employees via Hundi plus medical tourism by Bangladeshis to India. Bangladesh is considered within third or fourth largest trade partner of India. Of course Sanghis will deny this as most of it is unofficial. Officially Indian goods exports to Bangladesh is $14 Billion in 2021. But this does not count infra projects and other sale of services.
The legal remittance from B'desh to India is minimal while other way round is sizeable.
Now coming to Medical tourism: If a cheaper place was available Bangladeshi would have flocked there. In droves. So its the other way round. If India stops giving medical visa to Bangladeshi, it will be trouble for Bangladeshis. Ask Pakistani. They usually had to ask Indian minister on twitter.
Also, exports. It was only in 2021 14 billion figure was reached. It was previously 8 billion dollars consistently.
