Wickedleak launches Wammy Passion Z with 5-inch 1080p display, Android 4.2 for Rs. 14,990

Wickedleak has launched another affordable 5-inch device in the Indian market in the form of Wammy Passion Z. Wammy Passion Z will be available in the market from June 15, 2013 for Rs. 14,990.
As far as the specifications for Wickedleak Wammy Passion Z go, the smartphone packs in Cortex A7 quad-core processor, which is capable of clocking speeds to the tunes of 1.2GHz. The smartphone also has 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded by up to 64GB via a microSD card.

Wickedleak Wammy Passion Z comes with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920X1080 pixels, which makes it the cheapest full-HD smartphone in the Indian market. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). For camera, there is a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and BSI sensor. The smartphone also comes with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

It is a dual-SIM smartphone, which is 8.9mm thick and weighs 150grams. The other connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Wickedleak Wammy Passion Z also comes with a 2,500mAh battery.

Wickedleak had recently launched Wammy Passion Y HD in India. This smartphone too comes with a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. A 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6589 processor powers this smartphone. The smartphone comes with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 32GB.

For camera, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel one on the front. Wammy Passion Y HD comes with a large 2,800mAh battery.

At the time of the launch Wammy Passion Y HD offered Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean), but it has now got an update to Android 4.2.

so,according to u xolo's service is better than mmx?? the later arrived in india earlier..

i have a xolo x900 (intel processor) , there was some signal droping problem with the handset
i called the service center, next day a fedex guy came to my house to pick up the handset, they changed the motherboard and send it back to me in 6 days and i m quite happy with the handset

my sister had a micromax a87, again there was huge signal droping problem with the handset. i visited the nearby micromax service center. they said it's a smartphone hence you'll have to take it to another service center. then i took that to that center. after three moths and hundreds of calls to their customer care and service center they replaced my handset with a new one

I feel i could have gone for a different phone, but i'm gonna get an Iphone 4 next month, so no regret.

Been using the iphone 4 for the past 2 yrs. its a good sturdy one. there is a scheme going on where in you can return any old smartphone and get 7k off on the iphone 4 , after discount it will cost 19k. (which can be bought on emi)
i also just got a google nexus 4 from the states. thats great . so if you have the budget go for it.

my cousin just gave back an old (4yrs) blackberry and got 7k off for it using the scheme to buy a new i phone 4, go to chroma you wont be ripped off there. plus an s3 second hand is going for 17-20 k today.
